Will read when MrsWP around but rarely & i always make sure that i'm in a separate room & keep the door open so i can hear movements.  And its less suspicious.  Occasionally my bluetooth mouse disconnects for a few seconds and i had a heart stopping moment a few months back.  So i've stopped this.  Read UKP on the train on my iPad now & again but safari can be a fucker to properly clear out.  If less crowded then also AW but have to be more careful with the pics from nosey twats.  The cunts on Virgin trains block AW on their wifi

That's what I think too.  Before I retired (many years ago) my employer announced that too much time was being consumed by employees looking at porn sites and they were installing software to be able to detect when such sites were being accessed.  Certainly got me to use my own computer at home on my own internet connection.

Google is especially sneaky, in that whatever you search for appears on any other computer you use as a "recently searched topic" when you want to do a different search.  And don't get me started on "Google Photos"

Only view it on my phone and use a browser with good privacy settings. I use iCab Mobile but there are loads - set to erase all history within three seconds of closing the window or if the phone goes to sleep.

Bit of a pain as I have to keep logging in but means there's never any record on the phone of what I have been looking at and just comes up with a blank screen when you re-open it. Keep other browsers like Safari just for my legit browsing.

One of my real life mates had a new IT system / firewall installed at his business.  This blocked AW so he had to get on the phone to the computer services company & ask how to get round this.  Well not mentioning the purple one for obvious reasons

In the last few years I got a new contract EE sim and I was blocked on aw (probably other sites too), I also had a new virgin media router that blocked adult content, I rang both customer services to complain saying adult content doesn't work and I'm of age, make it work!! When Virgin media (in India obviously) asked specifically what sites I said pornhub and she said oh...ok.. I'll fix that now sir

Could easily do it if your punting phone is the only non-work device connected to the wifi. Unless it's unsecured wifi and you run a customer facing business.

You'd be amazed what can be tracked and traced nowadays. S'why I always use Tor when browsing AW and UKP and avoid any wifi or 3/4G connections when doing so.

This is true, but it can be quite a bugger not to log in to google. Google is also used to sign you in to endless websites if you let it.

They can see the name of the phone that is connected to the Wi-Fi, e.g. it will come up as leatherlover's iPhone. They may or may not log what sites each device has visited. To be safe I would not recommend connecting to the work WiFi using your phone if you are browsing porn sites.

If you want to browse while at work here are the golden rules:
- Never connect your mobile to the work Wi-Fi, always use your own 3G on your own personal mobile as the admins can see the names of devices connected and possibly what sites have been visited by which device
- Don't use your work computer as the IT admins may be able to see the history of which computer visited which sites, this depends very much how the network has been configured.
- Use Google Incognito mode for browsing, once you close the browser all history and information from that session is deleted
- Have another window open with something legit on it, always be ready to switch to this in case someone approaches
- If you are accused of looking at porn on your work PC, deny it, say someone else could have been using your PC. Tell them you frequently leave your computer unlocked for long periods of time when you are away from the desk and someone else could have used it.
- If you have a work laptop be aware that the history can also be logged, even if you are using it on your own network, cafe WiFi, etc.
- Bottom line is don't use any work computers or phones for looking at porn.

I read an article on a computer forensic website that said Google is the most difficult to recover information from. Firefox privacy does leave some information lying around. I suppose this would only become an issue if your computer needs to be forensically examined, perhaps of you are going through a messy divorce and the wife's lawyer wants to have your computer examined to prove you were cheating, or you are fired and your employer gets the computer examined to prove what you were up to.
