Istanbul mini review

Given that Istanbul is one of the few places we can travel quarantine free I thought I'd head there as predominantly a tourist holiday and throw in a bit of punting at the same time.
As a bit of background I've done a fair amount of international punting (Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Japan, Australia, Colombia...) and pretty confident to know what I'm doing.
Punting in Istanbul isn't like any of the above, there are no brothels and no real street walkers (or none I'd take the risk with!).
Before you go book a 4/5* hotel in a nice area, I stayed in Taksim and Biskitas.
I downloaded Tinder and it soon becomes apparent who are sex workers, agencies also list on Tinder and put there phone number on the photos.  Also if you search #instanbulescort on Tinder you will find some, but I didn't see anyone from there. 
Typically the women are either agencies (Russian) or freelancers (Turkish).
Prices are around 600lira for 2 hours / 2 pops + taxi (50lira), or 1500lira for an over night.  Freelancers are more negotiable.
I saw a stunning Uzbek (really world class) but a little bit disinterested until she had a drink and then the night got more fun, and 2 average looking freelancers who were a lot of fun.
I also had some fun from Tinder with a couple of local girls who just wanted a one night stand.

I was planning a trip to Turkey in December but this quarantine requirement has thrown spanner in my works . Hopefully things calm down soon enough before my planned trip.
250 E for 1 hour is on the higher end for Turkey and I would be skeptical of trusting any websites to deliver any promised 'goods' This has been the case with roksa.pl , odolty.pl in Poland and other similar websites in Ukraine and Russia. The better way if possible would be to video call or visit them incall and then go for outcall

Came back Monday from a 4 day spell there. Very similar to Khu's experience re the agencies. Lots of airbrushed photos on the websites, mainly Russians and you're typically dealing with an operator at the other end of a WhatsApp chat.  Incalls all out of Botstanji Green Park Hotel which is firmly on the asian side.
 Wouldn't mind the journey but taxis there can be a nuisance.

Girls were 1200 tl per hour for the incall, 1400 outcall with taxi on top. Which for me worked out an extra 300 tl.

Settled on an indie Kazak girl who seemed to only advertise there for a day before moving on. More than satisfied with her. Called at 3am, great comm, arrived at my hotel just before 4, very fun. 1500 with taxi. Stayed for about 1hr 40 mins.

One thing I wasn't expecting was that before hand wanted room and full ane details aswell as a picture of the card key to my room.   She also went to reception, had the dude ring me and the porter also escorted her up to my room door. Bit of a scare when I heard a knock, went to look through the view hole to find a big, Turkish fella stood outside.

Couldnt find any details of local turkish gals there though.

Will go back and try again.
