cheap accommodation for outcalls (Liverpool)?

Anyone know of any cheap hotels / apartment in Liverpool or near by so I can get arrange an outcall.
Ideally ones that take cash payment so the misses doesn't see the bank statement

Any help will be appreciated

I don't know if any of the Liverpool universities rent out Hall of Residence accommodation but I know that something on those lines exists in London, Oxford and Edinburgh during university vacations so wouldn't be surprised if other universities did similar.

It's basic accommodation and the price I've paid reflects that - which is why it appeals to one as frugal as me - but it's clean.

Haven't used it for 'our' purposes , though; so I don't know if double beds, if that's your preference, would be available. Or how sturdy the beds are!!

I always used Travelodges or a budget hotel on the Liverpool waterfront (don’t want to name it here and I can’t PM). I’ve got a “secret” online only credit card but if you arrange through booking.com I think it’s possible to pre book the room without payment and pay when you arrive so I’m assuming you could pay cash then. I’ve not tried it though so can’t say for certain.

If you click on my user name you’ll find there are reviews - them not showing by my user name is a glitch with the site. I also had reviews under my previous account which was lost due to a problem with changing my email address. In fact my total review to post ratio is of 563 posts / 17 reviews is slightly better than yours

Haven't had much experience with out calls but when I do its Air BnB.

There's a really good one on Rodney street. Big room with kitchen and shower but the best bit is its all online so you never see anyone. You pay and they send you the code to the front door then the code to the key box to get into your room.

I always feel like everyone knows what I'm up to when I book a hotel room or if you have to speak to someone to get into a Air BnB. I sweat and everything its terrible haha.

As to payment, hotels might want to decline to reduce the risk of the virus. Maybe get a prepaid credit card such as Pockit and load it up in cash? Pockit claims to have 27,000 locations across the UK where you can do that.

One by the docks right next door to gresvenor casino, seperate block for rooms is very handy, check in your self and your friends can just come to room without haveng the faff of reception, the door to the rooms didnt used to be coded but may be now, but you can still M&G at the door or out front
