We're a small group here and surely won't take offence at each other. I ve a guess that the volume of reviews other than those from Dublin, which are most welcome, has fallen off a cliff. I can't be arsed firing up Excel and inputting dates etc to see am I right so in the spirit of perverted light hearted pals can I ask if any of the below is true,

- scared of the legal situation so stopped punting. If so when did the "scaredometer" needle go into the red?
-I'm talking shite and reviews are same as they've always been.
- stopped punting due to high prices. Read this one again, we all agree on high prices being a joke but have people really stopped punting in the ratio of lowered review count?
- crookery on Vivastreet especially b&s and lack of true independents.
- disproportionate number of TV, ts, each to their own of course.

I'm talking about escorting here. Despite two dabbles in the massage game, I'm uninterested in it as I find the whole microworld laughable. (Again spend your money if you want)

I'm not overly arsed over this, just interested, thoughts?

Marty tbh my health's been a problem so I was way more active years ago. Also I live further out now so cheeky 30m appointments aren't worth the driving.
I'd be lieing if I said the stupid laws didn't make me think a little more but if the choices were better(ie. dublin) and prices I'd be more active regardless.
I actually like massage as it's easier to organise/decide to do last minute or if passing town as you can just drop in. But anything more than HE is waste of money.
So yeah that's why I haven't many reviews by comparison to my posts as I've a lot of useless info from the past haha 
If prices and choices improved I reckon there would be a lot more reviews.

While the law is probably the main factor which deters members from posting reviews of escorts on the NI and Ireland region of UKP, it should be borne in mind that reviews on their own do not constitute evidence and are merely indicative that something may have happened.

I tend to only use escorts if I’m single, currently in a full blown relationship so I get as much as I can handle just now (and I don’t mean that smart) I wouldn’t cheat on a girl as I’m kinda old fashioned and wouldn’t appreciate her seeing a male/female escort whilst in a relationship.

I haven’t reviewed recently as I have only seen local girls pretty much. All of whom have been reviewed many times, including by myself. And to respond to the original question, it probably is due to the legality over here and the net tightening by the local constabulary

A few things I've noticed in the last couple of years.

There's a drop off in the number of female escorts advertising.
AW has an increasing number of fake ads, private gallery scams.
EI is around a third TV/TS (must be a big market here!)
VS is full of B&S now, 6 pages of ads probably all leading back to the same 3-4 girls.
Backpage was never replaced and Locanto full of scams, Backpage seemed to be the place for locals to advertise without paying the ad placement fees.

Without seeing figures, but considering the increased prices, it's likely the escorts that are facing the logistic and cost difficulties, which in turn is leading to a drop in availability and therefore decrease in reviews.

There's still punting happening here, but less than previous years when the standard price was 60/half-hour for lower quality or 80/half-hour for "elite". Thirty minutes being 100 now, that 3 digit number probably puts more off.

Also the legal situation scares punters off from placing reviews. Punting is still happening but realistically not many visit this site or know about it

For me there are a few factors

Firstly I moved out of Belfast to the sticks. That makes it harder to punt On whim. I have to plan it

Covid, I did cut down a lot during this time

During covid I also had two kids, which really eats up disposable income

Add that to the fact it has gotten expensive, £200 the norm, I always thought £150 was high

Cost of living squeeze eats away even more at my disposable income. Come May next year, my mortgage will renew and child start childcare, so that will likely be an extra £700pm

There is also the lack of quality local girls. I prefer young local girls working from nice incall places. There are only a very select few meet this criteria

But then worst of all, I think I have lost the urge. I’m just not as interested in punting any more

The legal situation does kinda scare me. I wouldn’t want to get caught. But it’s the same as buying illegal drugs, very limited opportunity to catch me

Bryan I think the choice of local girls is limited and doesn't help. There's not many young ones to choose from locally while those around are pricing themselves out of most punters reach and few will take the risk with those who arrive from foreign climes. Many locals are of the more mature age have been around for years. They've become tired.

I'm definitely the same about the urge. Maybe it's an age thing and I can't be bothered but even if I could I can't justify the high costs today as any spare funds are swallowed up by the current encomic climate.

Legally too is it really worth the risk? Everyone has a choice. There are guys out there who can still afford to meet girls on a regular basis and do when you see the same names coming up on site reviews.

For me it's a number of reasons, the legal area is a bit of a worry, Disposable income is not what it once was for me, big number of fake ads or not enough variety and most of all I had an operation last year that took me a long time to recover from so haven't really been looking, that will be changing soon

I tend to keep my activities to London when I'm there for football or work but there are a lot more options there compared to the few decent girls working here and prices are similar.

I do find it annoying that people comment and don't review though, for escorts and massage. Everyone has their own experience but the reviews help you make the call on if you want to fork out a load of money on someone. If you have time to comment constantly, you have time to stick up a review FFS

To clarify my previous comment on the subject, if members believe that they could be identified from posting a review of an escort, it would be better to exercise caution and not do so. While the law has been ineffective in NI and Ireland in terms of the number of prosecutions, members only have to be unlucky once for it to have far-reaching personal consequences. In such circumstances, TOFTT and posting a review of an escort would not serve as any meaningful consolation as members would be on their own apart from legal counsel. Police can seize phones from escorts if there is justifiable reason to do so however given advances in technology, contact numbers alone may suffice. There is no comparison between the number of reviews posted for escorts in the NI and Ireland region and the various regions in GB because of the difference in the law. Prior to the controversy which arose after the passing of the Gender Recognition Reform (Scotland) Bill, there was movement in Scotland to adopt the law that applies in NI and Ireland but it may have been sidelined. Hopefully, MSPs will have second thoughts about passing similar legislation which does not address that for which it was purportedly intended otherwise the Scotland region could go the same way as the NI and Ireland region.

Price is the killer for me. 60 for the half hour was already a lot to me back when that was common. I also used to enjoy the street scene and backpage for the local girls who were looking a bit of quick cash, that is now gone too. Got into the massage thing because at least I could say I got a massage even if the extras weren't great. Same as above - lack of value, lack of girls, increased sense that the girls that are here in my price bracket are part of a ring / concern re trafficking (especially Chinese and eastern european), recent experiences (reviewed) not good and wouldn't entice me back.

Whether it's been FS or massage, once the vinegar strokes have been delivered and the big brain is back in control i have to say i am very wary of a rap on the door from the peelers and losing everything for sake of a half hearted hand job - to the point that the post blow bliss is gone and im. Tbh the legal side of things doesn't bother me as the police aren't interested in the local girls, they are only interested in the trafficked girls.
I wouldn't see a foreign girl.
The prices are reflective of the cost of living.
Have a look at how much it costs to book a hotel or Airbnb, I'm assuming that's why their prices are so high.
Going by reviews the local girls & travelling girls seem to be quite busy here.
I would only use adultwork as the other sites just seem too sketchy.
I'd guess the lack of reviews on here are due to less guys seeing girls & the other factor I've noticed is that people belittle other people's reviews.
Also most of the girls here have already been reviewed.

I’ve noticed the belittling a few times, some folk being smart when in actual fact they are only trying to be helpful. That could be a big issue maybe? I just popped in out of interest, I am based in London but I was thinking the same thing about the London forums. There seems to be less reviews than I remember, especially in the last couple of months. Granted I haven't done any number crunching so I could be way off the mark.
