Is there a thread for this or not wanted.

I googled brothel raids and got one in ireland 22nd August 2018 a facebook group wanted the brothel closed.

The comments are laughing about it no one seems too upset  :coolgirl:

I dont want to go to somewhere the neighbours are watching

Neighbours are always watching - it's what they do.

The trick is to make sure they are someone else's neighbours.

There was one in Gateshead a while ago, Admin wouldn't allow the link to the page though, if it got posted he deleted it. Facebook take those sort of pages down a soon as they see them anyway.

That would have been the thread, and yes, admin wouldnt allow the link, but the facebook page was easy enough to find

The page was taken down by Facebook within 2 days, the bloke kept trying with slightly different page names but they all got taken down. Don't know if he gave up or got banned. There was another one in Darlington, that didn't last more than a day.

Neighbours will almost always notice, whether a brothel or indie alone, just try to not make yourself noticeable. Then all if good.

If they're being raided it because they're not paying taxes, or employing women who are being exploited.

Service provider on your list how do I see your profile. I clicked site said I am not allowed to see it. I only see posts in areas I have access to

In Ireland punting is not legal so we punters can get in big trouble if spotted

Hi, IDM,

Not sure which part of the island of Ireland you live in; but, from my occasional visits to both sides of the border, I  seem to recall Marmite being on sale both in Northern Ireland and the Republic.

Well, imo; Tailseeker is a bit like Marmite; you either love it or you hate it. Me; I'd never think of buying it - the one time I was served it, I couldn't stand it. Although some might criticise me for not giving it a fair go, that one taste of it was more than enough for me.

Have a look at the arrogance in this: https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=243553.msg2499389#msg2499389 She seems to think she's above the rules of this Board.

If I were DaveMate's mate, I'd probably remind him that just because a prostitute posts on here, that doesn't automatically mean the same thing as being a good, or even an enjoyable, Service Provider. And that if he really wanted to establish a contact with a SP, UKE might be a much better way to go about it. And, finally not to forget that there are Regional Boards on here which if he was to come on a short 'Punting Holiday' over here would provide independent, dispassionate guides to SPs in Scotland, Wales and all the English regions.

Half-truth. The fact is if the police want them closed they will close them. One got done for cooking the books in Sheffield - stupid move having a cash machine on premises. It was called The Box Office.

One being External Link/Members Only was more or less the police saying don't take the mickey after the owners doing two documentaries.

Then there was a load closed in Manchester mainly due to complaints from residents and a certain Christian activist who had political aspirations.

I also heard of one possibly in Manc where they closed it due to it not having a fire escape, so basically trumped up charges as they couldn't do them for immoral earnings or trafficking or soliciting.

In sheffield the OB turn a blind eye, but I'm not expecting that to last, as a lot of changes seem to happening quickly and there is a push towards gentrification, just not in the "golden parlour mile" Attercliffe area.

I wonder what being "safeguarded" means.

it means they will be 'housed' in a so called controlled secure/safe environment such as a  shelter for vulnerable women, hotel
or police station maybe even a friend/relative that's not known to the person(s) they are been safeguarded from if anyone?
, just depends on how serious the danger is if any or circumstances etc

social workers and or social services might stick their noses in as well for all the good they will do, probably fuck all
or make matters worse ,but occasionally they do good and actually help  or give far more help than is deserved

P.S that picture in that link ,the one copper only looks about fucking 12 stood outside the knocking shop  :sarcastic:

thats a female PCSO you numpty...........

You'll never get a definitive list from the authorities as to whats been raided or closed.......
often the police have good tactical reasons for suppressing the info, especially if they're after bigger fish
also a lot of raids never come to trial here - the crims get quietly deported to answer trials for charges at home

As for Ireland, the Garda still seem stuck in the habit of blaming the girl, not the trafficker: they seem a bit more switched on to reality in the north, looking for the pimp not the girl

Interesting to know. I am applying my experience from London, where there are a lot of long running brothels.

Could certainly see though elsewhere problems arising much more easily, a sudden increase in foot traffic would certainly raise eyebrows. But then there's also a lot of legit businesses in London set up similarly, so it may well be a lot easier to fly under the radar, plus similarly a lot pop up in places of heavy foot traffic.

With London, if the police wanted to the Soho walk-ups could have been closed years ago. From my experiences of using parlours in Sheffield there was only ever a lot of people about at peak times lunch time and after work (5pm-ish), which is to be expected. One Parlour closed on Ecclesall Road, presumably due to complaints, not sure what the London equivalent of Ecclesall Road would be it's expensive-ish to buy property and sort of trendy-ish, maybe Kensington(?) - it was to be expected, a brothel next to residental housing was a stupid move by the owners. In all honesty being tolerant to brothels is one of the few thing SY Police got right, they had a huge problem with RLD and don't really want it again.
