UKP revolutionising Punting scene

I have come across several posts where WGs have changed their services based on the reviews on UKP (in a positive way) - for instance reducing rates.

Also, came across several groups/pimps who have given up creating fake profiles and Bait & Switching. Exposing anything that looks and sounds weird by punters, massively contributes to this I believe. Listing of fake services on likes list on AW, being exposed by punters is another one.

No doubt several WGs and their pimps hate UKP for the same reason, as they are no longer able to trick, steal and make quick money by ripping of punters. There are several WGs and pimps still doing just that. The one way to end it is by exposing and discussing about them.

More importantly WGs and pimp are starting realise one negative on UKP, means potentially end of career. Positive review on here on the other hand trumps up their business.

I think the interaction and platform UKP has created to constantly feedback and critic, is contributing towards shaping the adult industry in the UK. What do you think / any observations?

The cross referencing & sharing of historical info by ukp members is a huge bonus of being a member on here. Some scammers from years gone by regularly get exposed when they try to reinvent themselves.
Shit SPs deserve all the shit they get. A good SP knows that positive feedback on here can be worth its weight in gold.

I also seem to recall the odd WG that made reference to UKP on the AW profiles............... until they got a bad review then they removed it.
The point being, that many wg's do appear to be fully aware of the site and the potential effect it could have on their business with negative reviews. Some girls take offence and get defensive and others make amendments to their service.

I truly believe UKP has transformed the punting scene over the past few Years.
Its saved me a few times, just thinking back to when I started Punting in the 80's it was a bloody Nightmare, no reference points.
As Punters we now share data and experiences so the Roms / Pimps etc MUST be taking notice theres no hiding anymore.

Sinz,  absolutely agree with this, although I will acknowledge that my personal experience of punting only goes back to 2013. 

I see a number of changes.  I think UKP is helping punters become better informed and less likely to accept poor practice - particularly misrepresented looks and services.

I would be very interested to hear from veteran punters if B&S is less common now.  This is my perception over the past 5 years but I have been on a massive learning curve.

Finally, UKP is creating a more transparent market in which punters and WG’s have a clearer idea of going rate, and outliers are easy to identify. 

Lots of WG’s are completely unaware of the existence of UKP.  I think this is changing and will be the next big step.

What is unique and making the difference is a mens only (predominantly) forum,where bad or poor service is called out.
AW links to the provider gives us , the punters a quick easy way to sort the wheat from the chaff.

Irrespective of what pimps etc try to do to undermine UKP it demonstrates that a forum which is genuine and legitimate and endeavours to give an honest impression of escorts will be seen to work not just for the punter but also helps the escorts who are genuine and try to give a decent service

The shady and the dishonest are soon identified so that has to be a good thing to prevent cash being mis-spent

It’s not just the bad and poor service- the good, value for money, honest Service providers are also reviewed on UKP

Currently I mostly punt from craigslist but that will now change due to a change in personal circumstances.

Not all WGs try to improve. One who was negatively reviewed by me attempted to out me, another who had a neutral review refused to see me again. I think the good ones can take a negative if she learns any lessons from it.

another reason not to review her straight after a punt,and don't reveal your ukp identity ever. The best ones start with "saw her a few weeks ago ..."

Without wishing to sound fluffy this is arguably the best website in the world for men. It saves us thousands of pounds and even dollars and euros when we can check on potential hookers we wish to see and what they are like.

It has also radically changed the punting scene. While the market is flooded with Eastern Europeans who largely aren’t aware of this site (most can’t read English well enough to understand the concept) the big effect this site has had In driving out the scamming English hookers or severely denting their income. There are now relatively few decent young slim English hookers around which is amazing as 15 years ago there were loads advertising albeit the majority were shit service providers or scammers. This site has got rid of a large number of them which has been a god send.

The down side is it is now really hard finding decent English hookers and often means having to search over a 50mile radius to get a return of a few advertising who have good reviews here but at least it ensures we don’t waste our money.

I have been on UKP roughly about a year and am still amazed at the things that WGs and their pimps try. The reviews have saved me wasting money(as I hope mine have too) and I have learned one big lesson: No matter how nice the WG seems to be, just don’t trust them at all. Luckily all my poor experiences have only cost me time, not money, bad punts excepted.
Radio silence, ignored emails, dead phone numbers, non-confirmed bookings are about the sum of it for me at present.

Like all industries, an element of regulation in consumer interest is needed. We canny count on the government to protect our interests for obvious reasons, so this is basically acting as the Trading Standards for the industry. and it's bloody effective.

Honestly really impressive and remarkable that the results of a negative can be this tangible. can't think of anything like it.

UkP is certainly a counterbalance to the “fake news” of AW reviews, as the fluffies on here ultimately cant help themselves and are exposed.
