Yep, done this last year. Unplanned.

I routinely did this every weekend, pre-pandemic. Usually two girls for 30 minutes each, typically a £60 punt to start followed by an £80-100 per punt. Sometimes I would combine a 30 minute punt with an hour punt. The first girl can be a TOFTT, but the second girl I need to be more confident in. Because one disadvantage is that you can lose steam for the second punt, so the second SP must be decent to good to avoid having a failed punt, and losing money.

The main reason I do this is because I have limited options nearby, so when I travel to London to punt, I need to offset my travel cost and time, and also make sure I get my fill to keep me satisfied into the week. It is a lot of fun to binge-punt, but I think it's more ideal to space your punts out, so that you can be 100% strong for each one.

Personally I don't like quickies because they tend to be too rushed.

That explains it. At least partly for myself. I struggle to pop twice in an hour, so two punts gives me more recovery time, and as you mention, a new girl is more exciting than popping twice with the same one due to the Coolidge Effect. Down side is it's a bit less economical since an hour's punt can be had for £100, but two £60 punts will cost me £120. But in my case, popping twice in an hour is just too difficult.
