Author Topic: RB prices.  (Read 1475 times)

Just had a reverse booking running recently and I put what I thought was a reasonable price. £150 for 1 hour.

So..

Why do girls 200 miles away bother bidding?
Am I the only one who thinks that a girl is getting cheeky if she bids £150 when she normally only charges £120 or £130 for the hour? - I won't book any girl who does that because I know I can get them cheaper another time.
What's the point of bidding... but not bothering to type anything? If she can't be arsed to say anything.... I can't be arsed to book her.

They might be charging £20 above their costs because they are travelling further than their usual distance and think it's worth putting a RB in because the client might not know they are willing to travel that distance. I sometimes bid on reverse bookings for other cities and add the cost of my train fare on if their per hour rate is much higher than my actual rate. In that instance, no I don't think I am being cheeky, they don't have to accept my offer but some have.

Could be any number of reasons.  I mean, maybe they have even have friends or family in your area and will do a booking to kill two birds with one stone.....

There are some profiles that have no escorting feedback and have continually bid no matter where I've been in the country. They usually have one, maybe two pictures and the rest in Private Gallery. Obviously hoping you spend a fiver on them. Chancers.

I put it down to that some WG's have no concept of the geography of the UK.

It has happened to me than once.  I had put an RB for a hotel visit near Leeds and I had a bid from Kent.  When I queried it with her, she thought it was somewhere near London!

Another time, I had one from Glasgow.

I get the impression that some WGs just bid on everything, hoping to get one accepted.

I can understand the extra if there is a journey involved. Sometimes, it's just a piss take though. I've had local girls try to tell me they need to up their fee by £50 or more to pay for the taxi.
Midori - you do have a reputation for playing with a straight bat. Most others just seem to be blatantly trying to milk every penny out if us.

My money would be on this. Young people today seem to have no fucking idea where places are, or are unable to differentiate between countries and continents.

I kid you not.

Well that was broadly true in the early 40s.

OP doesn't state whether it's incall or outcall but, although I've not done it yet, the benefits of RB for me would be that is brings to light those girls who aren't on your usual radar because they aren't captured by your normal search patterns (e.g. geography) or are pricier than you'd otherwise consider.

I wouldn't have a problem if a £120/hr girl I liked from a town 200 miles away said she could do an incall in London for £150. Normally there's no chance I'd get to see her. Also many non-London girls charge more when they tour in the capital anyway.

That's probably just a case of saying "hey, I exist" just in case you didn't know and I'm sure not after an inflated rate. Never done a RB before - can they even bid lower than asking price?

I use RB quite a bit and get a very wide selection of bidders depending on where I am. In the well connected cities like London, Birmingham, and Manchester ladies do seem willing to travel a bit further due to good transport connections. Out in the country areas not so much.

Last time I was in London an escort from Yorkshire popped in a bid as she was around for a family event.

You do get the serial bidders and piss takers but they are easy to spot and ignore.

Generally speaking, as I am a vanilla type punter, RB in London out out for around £220 for a 2 hour outcall will attract 20/30 bids if I am in a central location.
If I am on the outskirts then ladies from Essex, Surrey and Berks may get involved.

I never accept an RB from out of the area, too many times in the past such bidders make an excuse on the day because they cannot be arsed.

A few weeks after a RB I was back in a particular city and tried to book a lady who had bid on a RB and was unsuccessful but she refused saying that if I had not thought her good enough to win the RB then she was not interested this time.

Funny these escorts sometimes.

Yes you can bid whatever you like, if its higher than my regular price and it's just a standard booking I'm my local area  I always drop it to my usual rate.

To be fair to her, Leeds Castle is in Kent

I am always careful on these to say something along the lines of whilst I could not complete the RB that week I kept her details as I was going to chose her and can we now meet.  Women are women and many get very funny about other women been seen as more attractive....

True. I used to always thank the unsuccessful ladies until a few got arsey about not being chosen. On a thread on UKE about the subject a few escorts said they would prefer not to get a ‘rejection’ message. Now I state a cut off date and choose by then saying if you have not heard by xxxx assume you have not won.

As a matter of politeness, before I accept an RB, I always go through the bids to let each lass know individually that they have been unsuccessful before deleting.

It can take some time (I normally get around 15 to 20) but I think it is appreciated.

Also, you can add them to your hot list for the next time so you have no need to do an RB.  When you contact them again, you can refer back to their RB.

I have done this several times now.

I haven't done a RB for years but I recall one where three girls were of interest and all had bid below there normal rate. I picked one and contacted the other two to see if they'd hold that price if I booked within a month. Neither had any problem with it.

You can bid lower than the stated price. When I was early on AW I bid at my hourly rate (which was usually less) on biddings I was intrigued by.

But did occasionally bid at the stated rate (unusual fetish or fantasy usually).

You're only not allowed to bid lower than you're previous bid... I think... I've not bid on anything in nearly 2 years. So might be remembering wrong.

Frankly I've never seen the point of looking all over, but if a WG is based in the sticks could understand it. They might be looking to build a tour around it. Or really a WG from anywhere. Might want to know if there's any interest to cover the initial costs before committing to something that might not bare fruit.

It's the other way round, if you have already bid and you want to bid again it has to be lower than your first bid.
