Yes, fair enough, stupid was probably the wrong choice of word and I can see why newbies to the business might be naive enough to give account access privileges to scumbags like this. The only point I was making is that these people ain't genius software and system hackers, they are simply handed access information so I struggle to understand why girls then claim they have been hacked.
I agree with this, hacking is breaking in electronically, if he already has the password then hacking hasn't occured, he's simply walked in with the info you gave him.
I think there have only ever been 2 occasions that I've given ANY password to anyone, both were in situations when there really was no other option. I do hear of people using obvious passwords, and giving them out lacksidasically a bit how folk used to be with PIN numbers and credit cards.
Unfortunately there are plenty of con-merchants out there, and the number of guys who will offer to help you out, give advice etc when you are new, and even later on is quite high. Plenty of trouble arises when the other party wants to manipulate methods to their own ends, or you have a fall out.
Best to keep as much as you can within your own control.
