street scene increase in Basildon

 Friend of mine lives in the above area  and says there appears to be a lot of girls around the market square in the evenings  and the car parks seem to be busy even though the stores are closed ...   anyone confirm  ?

Might be worth putting this in the East England Discussion section , some chance the people in the know about the Southend area street scene might be able to throw some light on it.
Or if your local just go and have a look for yourself , probably just a bunch of people who know each other hanging out imho.

I'd tend to agree that it's just a bunch of people hanging about.
Busy car parks could just be car meets. It's a long time since my street punting days down in the south east, but there wasn't a street scene in Basildon back then.
