Yes, that was Vanity, but personally I think some of the coverage was over-exaggerated in order for punters to fraudulently gain chargebacks unfortunately. I'm guessing this wasn't an isolated problem either, which is why Platinum Lace take you into a "payment room" with something like a bright halogen light, a camera in your face and a series of questions to answer with your drivers licence on display, if you try to go over their card payment limit. Without going too deep into the conspiratorial side, perhaps Vanity didn't have as a good a relationship with the council as Platinum Lace and Sophisticats, leading to their downfall. I may be wrong.
