Author Topic: How far back to go with reviews?  (Read 387 times)

I've posted a couple of reviews from massages over the last couple of months.  I'm newly active on the site, and I know participation is encouraged.

Thing is, how far back is it OK to go?  Couple months?  Six? A year?  Things change, after all.

What sort of timeframe do reviews stop being worthwhile?

As per the site rules (https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=252680), the answer is 6 months:
4 Reviews
A new review thread can only be created once a service provider has agreed to a booking. A meet does not need to take place, money does not need change hands, the only criteria is that she had accepted the initial booking. Members can post more than one review about an SP, but touting will result in a ban. Reviews are allowed up to 6 months after the event(positive or negative)
Only one sex worker can be the subject of a review, not a whole agency/establishment/ brothel. The exception is duos etc and massage establishments where providers do not have names
Reviews must contain either a link, contact details or address (if publicised by the service provider).

However personally I think negative reviews are helpful after almost any duration. I have even reported a negative review that was for a punt over 6 months old (while also saying I don't think it should be moved) and the mods/admin let it remain even though it was technically a breach of the rules.

At any rate you can still post a detailed comment/thread, ideally with her link or name and place of work (so it's easily found when searching).

Thanks Nigel, I missed that in the rules when I read them a while back.

I've only been on UKP for a few months and I never post a review of a girl that I've seen in the last few weeks, because I know that a lot of them view this site.

Yes many WGs do read (or have reviews passed on to them)

Many of us wait a couple of weeks before posting a review - esp if it was a bit less than stellar or if there is something unique about it

On the other hand if it was really bad and there isn't a snowballs chance in Hell of a return then I might post it ASAP

I'd post immediately if it's a negative.. I don't care if she reads it.. In fact I hope she does, it may buck her ideas up  :hi:

I tend to post within a few weeks of the meeting.
But it's also good to have older reviews because you can often get more information and increase your knowledge bank for the more established and permanent SP's.
As above, if it's a negative then the review is often written in the car immediately after you have wasted your time and money!

The trouble with that Derrick, is that if it's a confirmed booking on AW and they haven't yet left feedback, they could send a negative review if they're watching UKP after reading what you've said on here.

That's if they can link it to you ECR. Easy if you don't do an AW booking, which I rarely do. Not had an issue so far.  :hi:

Why do you place value on an AW punter review by an SP?  This tit-for-tat trading of niceties has been demonstrated to be corrupting, so why do you support it?

You choice is either to act in favour of all punters including yourself or in your own favour and that of the SP.  Presuming there's no particular objection to a positive (or neutral) review, withholding only becomes an issue wrt to complaints.  Do correct me if I've missed something.  Telling us the generalities of their failure should not expose you, especially if they've been indiscriminate with their behaviour.  If you feel bound to disclose more particular details the question begs as to how you believe they can exact revenge, especially if you have been duly cautious, as any sensible punter should be, and guarded your anonymity.

They are selling a service, they have everything to prove to us that they are worthy of our custom.  At the point of encounter both parties have risk of foul play at which point you both prove your intent.  If she wants to report you, justified or not, then she can do so via SAAFE or any number of other forums so AW is irrelevant.  We have UKP amongst others.  Her holding your AW "reputation" to ransom implies that she is guarding against unfavourable judgement, fair or foul. As a punter you guard yourself by evidencing the contract of service entered into i.e. written record of SP's agreement to services desired for an agreed sum prior to meeting.  You confirm agreement before paying for meeting.  You enjoy/suffer the services tendered.  If it's poor then you either end the session early and attempt some redress or just leave OR you derive your value by agreeing/accepting other services in lieu.  A negative review can be persuasive without being overly detailed, aggrieved or combative.  Any SP over-reacting in such context would do herself further damage.
