Author Topic: "Won't see" ages/ethnicities  (Read 11761 times)

Offline Pareidolia

I had just been flicking through some profiles and noted the not uncommon "Won't see XYZ - my personal preference" regarding both ages (typically older) and ethnicities (typically Black or South Asian).

Legally, aren't escorts (as service providers) falling foul of discrimination legislation, as well as websites for not policing it?

Anyway I tend to avoid those that place those types of restrictions, not that it would make any difference though.

Believe it or not, a business isn't forced to serve you and can turn you away, it's a common misconception people have. You confuse a public servant in this matter.

Offline Pareidolia

It's not like a shop can put "No blacks"  on their shopfront, as escorts essentially do on their profile...

Well their business is their body so ultimately they can decide who they'd like to see.

As you say, the best thing is just stay away from such providers. That's what I do

Offline Jimmyredcab

I drive past young black males late at night, let them sue me.

A prostitute has a perfect right to refuse service to anyone, they might not want to see ageing, cockney cab drivers, I don't see that as a problem.

A shop would be a legitimate business ----- try pursuing a prostitute through the courts.

What Jimmy said ^^

Honestly nothing has happened to me, it simply crossed my mind this evening.

Also prostitution is legal in the UK, so by extension a "legitimate business".

A prossies cunt is her castle !

If she doesn't want to see you call her the latest most applicable ism and fuck someone else !

"you could try Watchdog, but I think they've got bigger fish to fry"

Offline Pareidolia

I couldn't see why it couldn't be challenged in the courts. The likelihood is obviously slim though, unless there was a punter comfortable enough with his lifestyle to go through with it. More likely would be websites being challenged on it, though it would depend on host country I think?

I am fine about anyone refusing service based on "modifiable" attributes (particularly anything that puts individuals in any sort of harm), but not on age/race/sex.

(I sense I might be in the minority here!)

There is something in law that determines if a case being brought forward is "in the public interest" not being able to pound a prossie for an hour is not one of them. Would be entertaining though  :sarcastic:

This is a sensitive subject, and allegations of it being racism usually riles prossies up.

For that reason, I was hoping someone would make a list on External Link/Members Only of all prossies who ban punters based upon their race.

In the hope of riling them up more

EDIT: And maybe other lists of prossies who ban punters based upon their age, and another for weight.

I agree that it is racist. I deffo avoid ladies that discriminate against ethnicity.

If a prostitute stated that she doesn't see old bastards why on earth would I want to visit her, the same applies if she doesn't want to see blacks or Asians ---- her pussy, her choice who she rents it out to.  :hi:

Indeed, it's called freedom of choice.

JRC, I suspect that same argument was used in the UK back in the 60s, about shops/hotels/etc. I doubt anyone would want to see someone who doesn't want to see you, but it's also about shifting cultural and social attitudes too.

Its entirely up to a WG who she wishes to punt with or not, its not like buying goods that are inanimate. The alternative would be forcing a WG to punt with someone she doesn't wish to which can never happen I hope.

Whether some WGs are racist or ageist or not is another point but it doesn't change the fact its their choice.

You are bordering on forcing them. You cannot compel somebody to see you if they do not want to and yes a hotel owner, even now can refuse to grant you a room. Is it immoral, yes, is it illegal, no. We live in a democratic society and you can discriminate against  whom ever you want, provided it's not breaking any laws or hate speech. That's another kettle of fish.

For sure its racist in the same way some of us will not go with black / asian / white / pink with yellow spots  ! and who cares ? Just move on to the next one . And just think how bad a fuck she would be ! Sex for cash is not for the PC brigade.

What court do you mean, criminal or civil? And say someone went to court on this and won, what would you like to see as the outcome of them winning, how would you like to see things change compared to now?

Prossying isn't like buying a Breakfast buttie from Greggs. Hardly any prossies pay tax. But let's be honest there's a reason why many don't see black and "Asians", maybe "your people" need to sort out their own backyard before shouting racist.

Well if you read warnings on saafe the proportion of black and asian mentions is not proportional with their population !

If a WG is compelled to see any(race)one then isn't  that the same as forcing them into sex?

Do we as punters wish to see any WG who is forced into having sex with someone she does not wish to?

She may not fancy fat old white gits but she makes the choice to take the money.

If she chooses to not have sex with fat old white gits I think it is wrong to force her under pain of being taken to court.

Same for blacks, asians, old gits or fatties.

If you are either of the above then move on there are plenty of WG's who are willing to relieve you of your hard earned and hopefully your bulging sack load.

I think there's cases when discrimination is allowed. It has to be consistent (eg a restaurant that says "no ties, no shoes, no service!" and has a notice to that effect in the window) and you have to be able to justify it. Churches are also usually exempt. So a prossie who has a notice on her webpage is consistent. I would imagine it could be justified on sexual grounds or some other ground.

But like someone said, you're not likely to take them to court ffs.

External Link/Members Only

Everyone is discriminated against somewhere (non-Japanese, of any colour, ate persistently discriminated against in Japan). You can't play the race card forever.

Offline Nagilum

There is a difference between discrimination and choice.  I see no racism in a girl stating no Blacks or Asians. It's her choice. You do not know the underlying reason for her stating it. To automatically assume it's racist is wrong, there are other reasons.

Here is a hypothetical scenario - I won't see Black or Asians as they are not my sexual preference. Is that racist? Would you have a court force me to sleep with a battalion of Blacks and Asians to punish me?

It's their choice and not slavery.

In my 35 years of punting I have never visited a black girl -------------- but I do like Indian girls, we can choose so what's wrong with pro$$ies doing the same.    :unknown: :unknown:

A question for whingeing black punters --------------- why would you want to go with a girl who doesn't want to see you. :unknown:

Offline Pareidolia

I don't doubt that there might be a disproportionate issue regarding the behaviours of punters of black/asian backgrounds. But again I go back to my modifiable/non-modifiable argument - it shouldn't necessarily mean that ethnicities be banned due to behaviours that is perceived to be more common within this population.

Whether it happens in Japan or otherwise is of no concern, and can't justify our own actions one way or another.

And why would a black man see a girl who doesn't want to see blacks? In practice they won't (at least more than once!) but again im talking about social change - many didn't wish to house/etc minorities in the past, nor same sex couples more recently.

Ultimately it depends on how you perceive punting in general. Whilst there is a significant emotional and psychological component, I also see it (somewhat coldly) as a business transaction, a service provision, and should be legitimised as such. Sex workers should pay taxes, but also be able to run their business openly. Maybe if that were the case, we wouldn't be having this discussion at all.

Offline socks

Of course it's racist but so what? As you say making decisions based on non modifiables is discriminatory but if that's how the girl feels it's even worse to insist she has to let whatever colour of cock she's prejudiced about pummel away at her mouth cunt or arse. Black, white, young or old, the greater evil is effectively condoning rape.

If a ho doesn't want to fuck big guys fair enough, I wont book her and wont have wasted my time, but the Romanians prefer us lard arses and no questions about owo and CIM as nobody else will fuck a fattie !  Thats what a few Romany charmers have told me.

I was working in eastern Europe in my early 20's and visited a few bars that were basically meeting places for the girls and clients with the girls approaching you. Both paid an entrance fee, you negotiated a fee between yourselves. It tended to be for the night not a quickie although some would. I was young, clean, average looks, etc. It was clear most of the girls working there seen the guys like me as the ideal customer and would approach us over the 40 year old, balding bloke. Yes they are in it for the money and not love but I think it must be easier I'd they find the bloke clean and slightly attractive. Regarding race Europe  (eastern, is still quite racist they are a good 50 years behind us).

Just to nip this in the bud - im not condoning any forced behaviours including rape. If sex work is to be considered as legitimate employment, then any individual choosing to partake in it should be making a clear and conscious decision of entering the industry without any discriminatory attitudes. Those that specify boundaries regarding age or race may not be in this for all the right reasons.

Also - we are all regarding choice as a completely independent construct. Its not. It's our shorthand way of dealing with life in general, assessing perceived threats. Think about what we like and dislike - they tend to correlate with varying experiences in the past. We generalise when we have minimal experience. Our choices in sex workers will also reflect this. Inherently we are all a little racist/sexist/ageist, but that's partly a reflection of our life experiences.

What utter nonsense, you are a sick fuck and condoning rape and trying to get employers to enforce it with your views.

So you give people chose be unemployed or be raped !   You are one sicko !

By saying not condoning forced behaviour that is exactly the same as people who say no offence then go and offend you.

I agree with you but no matter what prejudices people have they still need to make a living. If a prossie won't see someone just because they are white or black or asian or whatefer, that's a pity as far as I'm concerned. But to suggest that doesn't make them in it for the right reasons is at best bizarre and at worst making you as guilty of just as prejudicial a set of attitudes as the racist ones neither of us likes.

I think most of us on here see young white women as the ideal sexual partner so I don't see why women can't have a preference either even if they are charging for it.

I dont think any guy could understand sex from a woman's point of view. ( unless your the other 5-10%)

Offline cueball

I don't see what the fuss is about. It's the choice of the prossie, if she states that she's don't like a certain ethnic group or certain type of male then great, if you fit that then move on.

She's better stating it rather than shutting the door in your face.

I still suspect there is more to this than the op is letting on.

Exactly.
No doubt there are girls who don't want to see men as old as their grandfather, far better that they say so rather than give a third rate service.

Sheesh! My point is being misinterpreted on the forum.

If I didn't wish to work in a shop and serve ethnic minority / elderly / disabled customers, then I don't work in the shop. Same goes for any work activity including sex work. I'm not suggesting that we force people to work in the shop, or work as a prostitute. My concern is essentially one from an industrial relations perspective than anything else.
