What are the wrong reasons to punt?

For example, angry at wife for not having sex for 5 years or deciding to see an escort rather then paying the credit card bill.

There is not a wrong reason. For the sake of shagging a beautiful woman could be a wrong reason. As could to experience a black girl for the first time. As could for an ego boost.

The only really wrong reasons would be with the intent of doing something illegal or nefarious.
