Jury's Inn Boro..... Safe?

First time poster, so I hope this is in order to ask.

I've booked a room at Jury's Inn in Middlesbrough ( business overnight stay  ) for next Tuesday and have booked a WG to visit me at my room there.

I was just looking on here and saw a previous thread , admittedly from 2014 ,  saying that Jury's Inn are very strict. Am I likely to encounter any problems? Is it easy enough for the lady to walk past Reception without been stopped, and does she need to go past Reception to head to my room? I don't know the layout of the place so just trying to convince myself all is good.

Any advice very gratefully received.

Yes very strict and would be easier to tell reveption you have a guest going just dont put a name

Bar and restaurant are in first floor after the reception. Gym also in ground floor after reception. Nobody will ask before 9 or 10pm.

Thanks...  I'm 'meeting ' with the young lady at 4p.m.... is it okay for her to walk past reception and towards the room? Not having stayed there, could you tell me the ' route' she should follow?

If need be, I'll just meet her at the entrance to the hotel rather than cause any embarrassment.

I think you now need to cancel your booking for your own discretion although this involves messing a wg around through no fault of her own. You have given too many details about your meeting to anyone who cares to read on here. Most couldn't care less but you have given full information for anyone who might choose to make things difficult or cause you embarassment. Learn and move on.

I already changed the hotel after swapping texts with the lady..... just seemed too much like potential hassle. New venue, time  and new town sorted.

Your Best bet get her to text you when she's in car park. Go down and meet her then go up
