There are loads of verified escorts who don’t have anything to do with porn or webcams, sure they may sell a few movies, PG to pay for their phone numbers to be displayed but fucking punters is their main source of income and I fail to see why they wouldn’t sign a form to say the images are of them, they are over 18, and have consented to post their own pictures.

There are content providers on AW who are going to have to recruit teams of admins just to keep up with AW.s compliance requirements.

They will basically have to fill in a form for every pic and clip on their profile and create a file for every person whos in each one and that's before they have to start contacting and getting written permissions from everybody who appears in any way on their profile and right now theyre giving people less that a week  to do it.

Reading that it looks like box ticking to be fair. They are not asking for proof of consent to be uploaded, only upon request. As long as the SP/CC has 2 braincells they can soon fake fill a form to upload. If not, just delete the questioned content, problem solved.

That was my take on the revised process as well. They will probably check a few accounts so they can say they have an audit process in place.

New here, but I have been in the regulation of a very different area for many years and I can tell you that it is *very* likely that VISA will do what Mastercard have just done - and soon. The reasons are (i) they are in the exact same business environment as Mastercard and they are subject to the exact same pressures and risks, and if it was good for Mastercard, it's good for them too and (ii) VISA will not want to be seen to be slacker than Mastercard. All it will take is for one underage girl to get some money from VISA through an adult website and for this to get in the news and their share price will take a major hit, that very same day. It's just not a risk worth taking. All kinds of sex transactions are risky for MCard and VISA in the Me Too era and so they want to minimise that risk with regulation.   You can expect more of the same in the future.

You may ask yourself, will AW (and othrs like them) actually enforce this? And my answer is, yes, I think they will. The reason is that AW seriously want that revenue flow, and they simply cannot have Mastercard cutting them off. Simple as that. So, you will see systematic and uniform action from AW.


But, the way this newbie sees it, the regulation is a good thing.

First, we will get profiles that are more truthful, and who doesn't want that?

Second, the fakers and the scammers will get scared because they will fear AW (nd othrs like them) will cut them off for good

Third, we will be protected against having sex with an underage girl (for which the law will rightly cut your bollocks off with a rusty hacksaw blade).

Fourth, the entire environment will change for the providers and the punters. The providers will realise they are in a regulated space and they will wonder if it is a good idea to lie and bend rules *in all areas*. Punters will find there are less girls, but the ones that are there are genuine.

You see, to me, I don't need 900 WG in my area, where a lot of them are fake and scamming. I just need a few who are genuine and have what it takes to run their show like a proper business...Girls that, in any other line of business, would be called "professionals".

Decimated is the word that best describes it i think. Made many times worse by what appears to be a non-deliberate problem with the 404 issues when you attempt to go to a profile via a link like the ones regularly posted on here.

I think AW will come to regret going about it this way in a very short time i.ll bet. They would have better spent their time and resources finding a way to get around Mastercards changes all it would have needed to keep MC out of the courts would have been a third party site inserted into the chain.

The interesting bit will be what happens to the likes of Neosurf where you can still buy credits using a Mastercard and then spend them on AW they must feel they are safe or surely they wouldn't have got into bed with AW when Paysafecard pulled out who must have taken the opposite view a month back.

The reason more content than expected has disappeared is that the verification button that was supposed to be in place before today's changes apparently still isn't there.

For me it gets rid of the dross, the scammers, the ones I have no interest in.

If I punt someone new I nowadays would select based on reviews on here, all of which i have met in the past are still verified and still in my done list.
I don’t tend to TOFTT, punt young newbies, or foreign WG. Mainly established English WG who moved from Parlours to AW.

Most are still there for me too. All the established lasses are anyway. The number tends to fluctuate a bit but about 11 in a couple of days is the biggest drop I've seen so far.

Just had a look through my HL on aw and although I can still see them listed on my HL, of the 60 girls added, all but 5 or 6 are 404'd when I click their link.

edit - some profiles are visible sometimes and then the next time I try to view their profile it's 404'd.

Yep, it’s playing up. I use a phone and have favourites linked, sometimes they work, a minute later not, and then work again. Same WG, same link not doing anything differently.

Interestingly for Lancashire, Vivastreet jumped overnight to it's highest ever number, 244. I think that is around 10% up

Looks like they've managed to sort out the issue with getting the 404 notice when you try using a link to get to a profile.

Still no sign of the promised certification/verification button yet tho apparently. But i don't see how they can take any action against profiles when the button they promised hasn't materialised.

I'm a little confused,  how would you know there is no sign of the button yet, I wasn't aware punters had to be verified or tick the same boxes as providers regarding photos 🤔

Yes if you have content on your profile you fall under exactly the same terms as the lady service providers do.

Actually, my profile is fully compliant as there are no pics of the sort you imagine on it never have been and all i.m waiting for is the button to be able to verify the fact to appear as promised.

Its been reported that today AW are admitting on the live chat facility that it hasn't gone as well as they'd hoped but they're on top of the issues that have come up like the 404 one and that the buttons and the promised forms should become available over the weekend.

The report I read yesterday by a person who had had a chat with AW on Friday said 'after the weekend', does not mean it won't appear sooner. A few who sell movies have been able to find a consent button in the movies section of their profile, and a few others found it near the profile photos section. Everyone else is just waiting. AW tend to have reduced customer service at weekends, perhaps they'll work overtime who knows.
