Should I get a notification when someone replies on a Thread/Post I have created or do I just have to keep checking it myself?

Email notification were disabled years ago due to the immense number of emails sent out (1,000+ per day at the time).

Look at the top left of the web page. Just under the UKPunting header are three links, including 'Show new replies to your posts'
