Hi all,
I've a meeting early next week near Temple Meads Railway Station Bristol
I don't really want to Cab it into central Bristol so I was wondering if there are any recommendations near the Station
Cheers and will post a review if I get to see anyone

Thanks ideally 10 minutes away as I will need to jump on a Train to get back, from memory the walk into central Bristol seemed longer than 20 mins
But equally if the Girl is worth it I can always take a Cab

You're going to be challenged! Within a ten minute walk of Temple Meads, there's only a few new flats in the area behind the casino, and in the residential area near St. Phillip's church. I believe there's a few SPs that might work from that latter area from knowledge going back several years, but it's mostly either a) offices or b) under re-development around Temple Meads.

Bath Road parlour's a short journey along....Bath Road (!), which is less than a 10 minute taxi journey in good traffic. You could ask the driver to take you to the ITV Studios or Sainsburys on Bath Road if you want to be discreet.

Other than that, you'd be better off finding an SP working out of either Cabot Circus or a Harbourside apartment both of which are a ten minute taxi journey outside of rush hour (is that still a thing?), or a 20 minute walk as houseboot said, maybe 25 if you take it easy.

With regards to central Bristol, you can reach the Castle side of the centre in 20 minutes walking from Temple Meads, if you go out of the side route AND get your skates on. But central Bristol's a large area, so you could easily add another 10-15 minutes to that if you're heading for the hospital or Park Street area, and that side's uphill too. Steep uphill.

I appreciate your reply and looks like I will need to do a City centre 30 min Pit stop via Cab; so who would you recommend in the City Centre I am partial to a CIM finish

The Polish flat near Asda is about 10 minutes away. Fit Sarah and lovely Kate there

Can't recommend anyone in the centre currently, as I've not been there for a while, hence the area info in terms of travel times. There's a few I'd avoid (see the reviews under my profile), but no one specific who's likely to still be there, as there's been a lot of change the last 18 months. General consensus is that Bristol's not great at the moment, there are some good SPs, but they're not based in the city centre AFAIK, rather on the edge in places like Bedminster (Rebecca_gfe) or more recently Jazzy2020 (Arnos Vale). But I've no personal experience of either.

Best advice is to search the forums here - https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?board=21.0
, or search and contact SPs in BS1 or BS2 on AW.

Be aware that BS1 stretches all the way out to Ashton Court, and BS2 is an equally large area that goes past Easton right the way up the side of the M32 and into some of the hillier climbs on the north west side of the city so ask for the two areas I mentioned, or get very specific road names before booking is best advice.

That was the one I was trying to remember - thanks dubs. :hi:
Although I would temper that by saying it's probably 10 minutes away by taxi without any traffic?

:unknown: Why on earth would you want to go "through the red brick flats behind the car park"?  :unknown:

It's a straightforward walk along Clarence Road.

Are any SPs still working from the Three Lamps flat ? That is but a hop and a skip from Temple Meads.

I think Sweet Jane External Link/Members Only works from there but only a few days a week as she travels around a bit.

Jane stopped using that flat some time ago.  I think the neighbours started to cause problems.  She seems to spend more time away from Bristol now and when she is here stays in various places.

I saw her up by the University which was a yomp from Temple Meads on the hottest day of the year I recall (still the half naked student hotties were a bonus)
