Adam I am planning to do some work on the wiki but I have a few questions of whether you allow a few things I envisage:
(i) I will do some work about the London Agencies. Do you allow the creation of profiles of WGs with images? Because in London it is the girl that is important not the agency as the girls are actually indies (well giving a commission) and work for 20+ agencies some even have profiles on Adultwork. So a profile of the girl rather than the agency is a better idea and under each girl’s profile have all the links to the several agencies (and possibly adultwork or personal websites) they work along with their reviews here.
A profile for the girl and listing all her agency aliases is fine. Though I guess the problem is if she works for 10 agencies under 10 different names it's not always obvious which one is her main name.
For page name changes - it's possible to do a page redirect, that way all links to old page will redirect to new one automatically:
#REDIRECT [[pagename]]
External Link/Members OnlyHaven't decided regarding images yet, even though some will complain about "copyright", there is something in both US and UK law called "fair use" / "fair dealing" which is why Wikipedia and BBC can still use copyrighted images.
(ii)Do you allow the creation of wiki pages with reviews? Not links to the forum reviews but the review to be directly created on the wiki as a page. My idea is to post reviews first on the wiki and then the same review on the forum section and put a link in the forum review towards the wiki. In that case we can post updates or modify reviews on the wiki without bumping threads on the review section. Do you accept such practice? Another idea is to create profiles of WGs and transfer all reviews and comments of review nature made about them on a nice and neat page. What do you think?
Don't really think that's suitable (using the Wiki for reviews). Am only intending PW to be a directory + punting guides.
I am planning on adding a feature to UKP to allow edit of posts / reviews (with no time restriction), but they'll need to be admin approved before actually changing as I don't want someone to go back and edit out all their posts and make hundreds of threads unreadable.
