Thailand has lost it's sparkle for me, I now have to pay £50 a night for a decent hotel and £2 for a small beer, I used to get 71 baht to £ now it is nearer 45.

I go to Bangkok regularly on business, about 5 times a year.
If you want a reasonable time with an alright girl then go to Nana, soi cowboy etc.

First post here, I've been lurking for a while, mainly in the UK forums - but I'll be in SE Asia on business soon, and hopefully I'll have a couple of free days in Bangkok (and maybe even Pattaya) I've been to Bangkok a couple of times, but as I won't have much time, I'm hoping that some of you can help me make efficient use of it. So, a few questions - I hope I'm not overdoing it posting them all together - I'm sure I'll get used to the etiquette in time!

I've used Annie's about 3 or 4 times in the past, which has been mostly good. I've seen Darlings, in Soi 12, but not ventured there - does anyone know if it's worth a try? If not, I guess I'll stick with the tried and trusted...

I've seen on here, and other places, references to Ratchadapisek, and they mostly seem to refer to soapy massage - is the area easy to find - I was thinking of taking the MRT to the Ratchadapisek stop, presumably that will get me in the right area? Is it worth going that bit further out - in terms of quality or value? (I'll be staying in Sukhumvit)

I'm sure there are a lot of other questions going around in my head, but the only other one that comes to mind is buying Viagra locally. Where will you be staying in BKK? To get up to the MP's on Ratchada Rd it's simple to catch the MRT subway train, if you're staying around lower Sukhumvit Rd get on MRT at Sukhumvit Stn, no don't get off at Ratchadapisek stn, as you'll be a long walk away, get off a Huai Kwang stn, if you exit the stn to the left you will be near Nataree, Hi-class, Emanuelle, Poseidon and a few others, best time to visit is after 7pm, any earlier and there will be fewer girls, many freelancer at the MP's after they finish a day job, read up on prices and reports on forums like ISG, some parlours still charge farangs a surcharge, because we meant to be bigger than Asian man.

You can pick up Thai generic Viagra, Sidegra, over the counter in most pharmacies, 250 baht for 4 x 100mg. Lots of street hawkers flogging all kinds of pills near Nana, I personally wouldn't touch that stuff. I tend to use the pharmacy between the Landmark and Soi 4.
