Asian Massage Parlours in US - expectations?

Hi all,

I'll be in the US soon and wondered if the Asian massage parours (AMPs) operate similar to UK. i.e. do you pay a house fee of $x and then negotiate with the girl in the room? I hear that SP's in the US are really expensive by UK standards so wonder if it's worth bothering with AMP's or wait till I'm back home.

Ive only been to one in northern california and that was all paid at the end. Simple R&T place that didnt offer any more than that (mainly due to being in 1 large "room" with only a curtain for a door seperating it from the waiting area

I’ve been to an AMP in Texas - sadly now shut down by the boys in blue. Walked in no booking, and met by Mamasan  who assigned me a girl. If I didn’t like I could have asked to wait and see another. Etiquette was to lay out $200 on the side table  in the room - that gets you the lot - massage, owo and fs. Had to be careful as the Korean girl was happy to climb aboard BB until I halted proceedings and covered up.  Report further down this thread.

From my years living in Nevada, I used many AMPS (although my favourite, closed down by law enforcement,  was Queen Vixen in Henderson), it operated pretty much as it does here ,- you arrive, ask for a massage, pay the massage fee.

Charges  for extras negotiated with, and paid directly to,  the masseuse.

Certainly around Vegas/Henderson virtually every strip mall has an AMP.  I only ever encountered  one where extras were not offered.

I went into one place when I was traveling, which I found on an escort site. The location itself was a discrete converted office space with no signage, other than a buzzer. The girl was decent looking, but the same as we can find here. She wanted $150 hh/$200 ph for FS. But it was ultra vanilla only, so at that price, I decided to wait until I got back home to punt. The hourly rate for massage was $50 IIRC, I'm not sure how much extras were. If HE is only $20, that would actually be cheaper than here for the FBSM.

I would second the suggest to join Rubmaps, you can cancel after 1 month - joining will tell you what you can expect in terms of service and cost so you won't get played as a newbie/tourist or be laughed at when offer far less than the SP expects.   

Some states have dozens and dozens of shop fronted massage parlours, you can at least narrow it down a little.   I had a little look around last time I was in New York City, the house fee for an hour's massage in Chinatown was around $50, this varied and some shops wanted up to $20 more.    A happy ending is also around $50 so overall its more expensive than the UK, you definitely wont get away with the equivalent of £20.     Can't think I saw any less than $40 offered and accepted going off Rubmap reviews.   Full sex, well north of $100 on top of the house fee.

$50/hour massage (£42) + $50 HE (£42) costs a total of $100/hour, or £84.

Although in previous years when we had a strong pound, it actually would have been cheaper to get a rub and tug in the US than here. Let's hope for a stronger pound.

Rather than Rubmaps I've joined eccie.net. You can sign up just for as short a period of 2 weeks and it gives the low-down and field reports on most major US cities and some other countries as well. Rubmaps keeps rejecting my Uk credit card so I gave up on it. Eccie also covers strip clubs (where there is a lot of action to be had in the US it seems) and independents as well as amps.

My particular experience of the one i went to, was rates of $60 PH for the actual massage and the only extra i recieved was HE and that was $40 on top of the 1 Hr massage for my first time. Subsequent visits it was $60 for the 30 minute rub & tug.

 I went a total of probably 6 times in 9 weeks and whilst the first one was a very professional massage that had a gentle enquiry as to me wanting HE 5 minutes from the end after my entire back and front had been professionally massaged with rather little in the way of CC/RU (which actually then pissed me off that i paid $40 for 5 minutes of clothed HR, all subsequent visits were 30 minutes with CCs and reach unders from the start and post turn it was pretty much straight to the HR. All of which were always clothed. Price for the 30 minute R&T visits was $60 and the last time i visited it was only 40 as i was deemed so regular. That was just this 1 particular place. Major cities will maybe offer more but likely be more pricey

Interesting. Maybe they put a high value on regulars since they know you won't bust them. The quality of the massage sounds a lot better than most here, although that was probably specific to the masseuse or shop.

Parlour service depends very much on where you are. More rural states further west you can get fs but in Eastern cities it's mostly HR only. Still, they do focus more on the quality of the massage and in Manhattan near the stadium I've had some great table shower massages. Because paid sex is illegal in most places, too often they won't talk about price if they don't recognise you, and you're supposed to guess at the end what to leave as a tip: they won't even hint. When you see a girl in a bar, you need to be careful not to ask the price because she could be fuzz trying to nail people just like you. When you do get to talk prices, it's usually far more $$ than in the UK, just because of the risks these girls take. And in NYC and maybe elsewhere, they seem to think that punters all want to do a line of coke, so carrying that makes it even more risky for the girl and for the punter if caught.

Chicago’s not coastal and it’s littered with AMP and stripfuck joints.
Not having a car could be viewed as suspicious but a tourist is let off. Not carrying credit cards can definitely be seen as suspicious. Not called the United States of paranoia for nothing!!

Join Eccie.net - they have info on lots of major US cities and you can take a 2 week membership out for $25. I used it recently to sus out which AMPs in Dallas were worth a visit. Many of them there offer FS not just massage. More discreet are the “studios” - mainly Asian or Latina women working from an apartment managed by a “booker” (aka pimp). However you will have to verified to use them which is tricky if you are not a US citizen. I managed it by a weird photo routine (selfie holding up my UK drivers licence) plus a screenshot of some of my reviews on here. Seemed to work but in the end I had to cancel because of a work commitment.
