I'm 3 years behind and need a set of jump leads just to get going.
I enjoyed a lot of friendly chats with him about the joys/pitfalls of punting in old age.
He appeared to be losing interest in the more recent chats as he'd lost a good regular and was having trouble recruiting a replacement.

When I first joined UKP it seemed like there were a few members skilled at that. Feels like there isn't really anybody taking up that mantle at the moment.

All he had to do was stop posting speculation about the origins of Covid, he revived an 18 month old thread to do it then tried turning the vaccine thread onto the same subject.

There was even a specific rule brought in to stop posts like that but he wanted to push boundaries.

Here in UKP we can only speculate really on the disappearance of someone.
