Author Topic: Negative review for a cancelled punt  (Read 667 times)

Bit new to this so was wondering what the deal is with posting a negative review when the escort has cancelled at short notice?

Had a booking confirmed on AW and then again on the morning of the day in question only to be sent a text saying she had to cancel 20 minutes before the agreed time, whilst I was on route. Said she was not feeling well.

It's well within the rules to post it. Generally, I don't bother posting reviews for cancellations but a cancellation with only 20 minutes to go is definitely poor and I'm sure no one will have issue with you posting a review. It's definitely helpful for punters to know, even if some won't be too fussed or are more inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt (which is generally unwarranted in my experience).

Had that happen to me recently with an escort who's also a member here, and also very popular on this site.

She said sorry at least, and came up with an excuse (which I don't believe)

I guess if a girl doesn't want to see you, she can either pull this shit, or just ignore you, or just say "I don't want to see you, sorry". I'd rather they just ignored our correspondence.

Okay thanks. I probably wouldn't have bothered but she didn't offer a chance to rearrange or any other way of making it up to me.

That's a good and relevant point. Definitely review worthy IMO.

Definitely write it up in case she’s also doing it to other punters.

I think it depends on the circumstances and if any effort was made to re-arrange / compensate.

I had a punt a few years back who, when I turned up at the given address didn't answer.   I went away fuming, only to have a call a couple of hours later apologising saying she had been busy and fallen asleep. she offered to re arrange at a time of my choosing (which happened to be a Sunday, her day off), the bonus was she knocked £30 off the hour booking, and was 'unused' that day for the meet.  Winner!!

In the end it had little impact for me as I was staying round the corner, and with the 'make amends' offer it was worth it.

Looks like a negative. Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.

Yes, definitely write it up, so that anybody who does a search on UKP of a particular S.P will see that she has form for this sort of conduct.

While there might  be a genuine  reason, to use the same excuse each time would ring alarm bells. More often than not the real reason is that she has been offered a longer booking, and wants to avoid "downtime" between punts to a minimum!

I would write it up.

If a punter is torn between 2 escorts then every little bit of info could make the difference between a punt and a wasted journey.

Usually though not always it means;

" I've cancelled your half hour as someone has booked me for a couple of hours and thus i maketh more dosh"!..

Definitely write it up and give a negative, late cancellations are too common and they cost us money one way or another. Punters often travel quite some distance for discretionary reasons and a late cancellation can mean a couple of hours of driving and several gallons of petrol.

Cancellations within 24 hours would get a neutral from me if the reason seems reasonable.

Last minute cancellations that give me no time to find alternatives (less than 1 or 2 hours) could get a negative, especially if I was suspicious of being messed about.
