Author Topic: Address collectors. What is the point of this?  (Read 1035 times)

Hi,

I've read on quite a few occasions where a wg bemoans a client (or a man posing as a client, anyway) as an address collector and TW.

Just wondering, what is the point of this i.e. having some sort of database with the addresses of prozzies? Is it kind of like train-spotting?

The only practical reason i can see for this is to make it easier to associate "independent" profiles with those of known groups

Yes, probably. Pervs who have no intention of going to see a WG getting their thrills from knowing where a WG was hosting their clients or even stalking them/their clients...

I have to admit that on the odd occasion I've seen a WG on their way to their location (to see me!) I've got a bit of a buzz from it.

For example I once arrived early at my destination for a duo meeting so I went to a local shop to get a drink and parked outside while waiting for time to tick by. It was slap bang next to the local railway station - out in the sticks, not an urban location so platform was visible from the road - and I watched the "second" girl of the duo get off her train, walk across in front of me dragging her little case full of lingerie and toys and toddle off up the road towards the "first" girl's house. I recognised the girl from her profile, even though face pics were blurred. It certainly gave me a thrill, but then I was going to be balls deep in her while she munched out her pal in 20 minutes' time... If only the punt had lived up to the anticipation!

:hi: :hi: As I ve mentioned in past I work in the refurbing of flats and houses in rental sector I work for a mixed bag of people from agencys to private Landlords....

The WG`s who get asked for their exact address could well find they are in the postcode area of a letting agency which rings and checks address when they have suspisions, we have done refits were the agency has found out the place was being used this way. If the agency has a sniff / neighbours complaining ect  ...about some thing not right then 20mins on phone refenceing newsagent cards ,  AW postcode search then texts with exact then door number / flat  will answer this ....

IT happens  :hi: its just not talked about politely by firms Ive worked with but it goes on. Not to sure how many homes are covered in one postcode 40-50 maybe so if the text back gives a postcode they are concerend about then asking for the exact is next step :drinks:

I had many over the weekend. So many guys "made a booking" then asked for my postcode, only to never be heard from again. It's bloody weird.

My post-code covers just five houses.
