I wonder if stag parties are the crossover point between punters and civvie blokes (ie non punters)?

Many posters have said how awful it would be if friends and family knew of their hobby.

On the other hand, I've been to stag parties where hired strippers were prepared to go the extra mile, and they expected to have sex with guys from the audience including the groom. Would that count as punting?

Yes I agree they're WGs. Most of the guys I know are far too straight laced to have sex or even get a hard on from being teased by a stripper. I was once one of the few unattached guys at a stag party where loads of photos were taken - but the only ones that were considered safe to be shown around afterwards were of me with the strippers (not having sex with them!) - as I didn't have a partner to get upset. In London several years ago during the 90's we had a London group called the MDA69's - and these were evening sessions with food and a group of strippers and escort girls who would go the extra mile - venue halls were hired and the group number was in the 100-200 - events took place from 6-10 and any money over was collected for charity - several girls would take the guys from the group and actually give them BJ on the stage - lots of les action and some girls had private sessions in the conference rooms on a 1-2-1 basis for £50-£100 depending on what service was required - went to a few but then the organisation went under as the 3-4 guys who set it up lost their Londo city jobs  and the MDA69 group disappeared.

My 5 brother have now been married for at least 26 yrs, and all there children are now around 23 yr old, and wont be long till they get married

My brothers stag do's, were very lame, it was just us, and friends drinking a lot, going from pub to pub, and no trouble in site.  they dare not have strippers, as if this go back to parents, they would be shocked as would there soon to be wives, and being from a catholic family who goes to church every week, this is something we don't get into

I was at a stag event (not a wedding) called race night, to raise money for charity.  As well as having filmed horse races to bet on, there were strippers. They collected money for lap dances.
