booked via text. got instructions by text. drove to newcastle and parked.
 switched on punting phone to find message sent at 0730 asking me if i was coming.
 then another at 0815 saying its cancelled as i had not replied.
there had been no mention of need to confirm in any of our texts.
 plus sending texts like that could be very awkward if you dont use a burner. so a negative from me.

Agree about the message sending and it reiterates the need for a punting phone.

Must admit I always confirm on the morning and won't even set of unless I've had a reply.

7.30 does seem a bit sharp though.
