Looks like a day mission if I decide to go
You're welcome Jeezy. If you're going to make it a day trip, then if you like nature it might be good to go on a day when there is good weather. There's a few nice views you can see with just a 5 mins walk from MKE. Some punters dont rate the scenery. But it's nice for a Londoner not spoilt by much time in true AONBs (areas of outstanding natural beauty, like the Lake District or Surry Hills). I sometimes arrive 30 mins early as dont like to take a chance of the trains making me late for a punt, so have enjoyed the scenery several times.
Also, in case you're interested in the supernatural, the MK areas is one of the most interesting parts of England, at least in terms of variety rather than spiritual depth. Google 'milton keynes illuminati' to find maps to see locations for various magical statues and other features to visit. The bits you might read about the illuminati itself & MKUltra are almost certainly nonsense. But it is IMO likely the MK town planners were influenced by benevolent magical thinking in their design choices.
You know, some punters say the unusual concentration of WGs in Milton Keynes is just due to the economic clustering effect, plus the fact many firms see MK as the London weighted centre of the UK, hence having hub offices there & attracting plenty of travelling businessmen. Those with a broader understanding of life have other suspicions.
