Author Topic: Random profiles being created  (Read 709 times)

I notice that pretty much the same thing happens every week and I wonder why?

Most weekends the following profiles seem to appear on AW that all have the same look and feel,

1. One profile picture that looks to be stolen (Normally a Teen-selfie), some have a photo gallery with 5-6 pictures which you have to pay-to-view
2. The profile create date and last login date are the same
3. The offer BB and Unprotected in their likes list
4. The only contact details are via AW email or making a booking request

I wonder what the point is? They seem to disappear after a few days and only turn up on my new profiles search.

Can't make any money? Bait and switch? Revenge porn? Robbery? Bored Teenage boys and stolen selfies?

Anyone else noticed these profiles?

Here is an example of what I mean

I've always thought some profiles were just to make money from Private Gallery fees.  Don't know how the numbers work but I guess for reasonably tech savvy boy or girl it wouldn't take long to set up a profile and gallery with pictures lifted of the Internet

seen a few myself lately and here is the latest

All 3 of those have a similar style and the same Private Gallery charge of 1.2 credits.

Anybody know the economics of an AW Private Gallery?

And here is another:-  External Link/Members Only

That one by the looks of it, the photos in the private gallery are Non-Nude (NN), so you get duped into looking at photos that are not even nudes, could be wrong.

Maybe an SP can comment on that that they have to put NN if not nude, but it appears to the case in all the PG's I have looked at in the past

All the photos in all these profiles are notated "NN".  The photo on the one I identified "Spunk Kelsey" has changed since yesterday.  Are these profiles nationwide or just East Midlands based?   I must admit, having read this so far, that the identities look to be harvested from some other legitimate sites and stuck on AW to make money from the credits.

Long standing scam. As long as I have been aware of adultwork there have been private gallery scammers.
Easy enough to spot, and avoid wasting time on. Just move on to the real ones, check here for details, simples :hi:

Adultwork need to up their game. Then again they have a 'dog in the fight', in that they cream off the top from these fake profiles.

You can't blame AW for these: the profiles are being nuked as soon as the AW systems pick them up, usually with 24-48 hours.
Thats why new ones keep appearing: its like playing whack-a-mole. You've got a profile farmer flooding new ones onto the site each time the old ones are deleted. Its not just one part of the country - some of those photos have turned up in northwestern profiles as well

There procedures could be tighter at the outset, i.e. by restricting a member selling services until they have verified who they are. The appropriate restriction would be preventing the profile from going live. They don't do this because it would harm profits.
