Author Topic: SPs with Dual 'Personalities' - one for FBSM; one for FS - why?  (Read 456 times)

Hi Brethren :hi:

Recently, I've cum across (literally!) two FBSM SPs, whom I've later discovered run parallel online profiles and alter egos for FS ...

bodyfeeling4you (FBSM, Lingam Massage) in HA7 (Queensbury), who is also JACQUELLINE (External Link/Members Only) for FS.

Imogen (Sensual Massage, Lingam Massage) in NW1 (Marylebone), who is also Infatuating Imelda (External Link/Members Only) for FS.

This now has me wondering why they do this? What's the value in running two separate service streams? Are FBSM and FS punters so different that SPs see opportunities to cost/charge or look/behave differently? Maybe the effort required to be an FBSM SP or a FS WG is different enough to warrant dual and different personas?

:unknown:

They are two totally different services, in my experience the quality of the massage is the most important part of FBSM, the happy end being a bonus. There's loads of positive reviews for totally legit massage providers.

With escorts it's the quality of the sex that counts. If they provide both services it greatly increases their earnings potential. Success of course depends on how good they are at each.

Focused marketing/demographics.

I am guessing there are some guys who only want FBSM with HE and would be put off seeing a full on escort.  They want the comfort of knowing this 'therapist' is not doing FS and as such they can be sure there will never be STIs involved.  Gives them a sense of security- false or otherwise.

Just a thought.  :unknown:

Indeed, daviemac :hi: ... but surely then it'd be worthwhile highlighting such dual-skill at both services on a single profile ... especially for a punter, like me, who would relish both in a single session or via guaranteed return visits.

Yes, Yondu616  ... I think you've got it. I can understand this ... it seems such separation/distinction would suit those of us needing the [false] sense of security of knowing that pure FBSM provision is the lesser of two evils.

From what I've found there aren't many escorts who are qualified as a masseuse, in fact there's some on UKE talking about taking courses to become qualified. If I was after a massage I wouldn't go to an escort for it. I'm sure a masseuse who does both could point that out during a massage and vice versa. Rightly or wrongly I presume a massage from an escort isn't going to be up to standard. That's my take on why they would advertise separately.

Definitely agree, I don't go anywhere near escorts/aw  adverts when looking for a quality massage , sensual or traditional.

Spot on.

I regularly go for FBM/DTM with a legit masseuse who has qualifications coming out of her ears.

I separate the quality massages from the quality bedroom meets and put myslef in the hands of an expert for each type of visit.

I agree with the “might assume the other service won’t be as high quality” assumption that might be made. STIs? Maybe, though that’s a foolish assumption as soon as sexual service of any kind is on offer.

Also might add:

- advertising restrictions: some platforms might only allow advertising of non-sexual services. Advertising massage only will allow you to still be found on them, if not outright circumvent these restrictions (by way of hinting at “extras”). Is there a good reason not to advertise where “anything goes”? I would think so, as AW seems a really big pond to be fishing in.

- price differentiation: does AW allow publishing different rates for different types of services. I’ve never seen it, except for differentiating on length of session and in-/outcall. Sure, you could put it somewhere as text, but that doesn’t make it searchable. Also, never should you underestimate how bad people can do at reading (comprehension).
