How far do you travel for a punt?

Idly going through this Board, as you do when you're retired and a week off your next punt, I came across this exchange of views on another thread here:

I got the train from Euston to Hemel Hempstead - 30 mins, pretty frequent service. Then literally 5 mins in a cab to her place. Not ideal but well worth it for those tits.

Although I am London based, I am starting to travel a bit more if it seems worth it. Recently had a trip to Birmingham ... and it was a bit of a buzz taking a trip to a place I don't really know for this purpose.

I admire your effort. I think I'm too lazy and risk averse to travel that far though

So apologies to agcnospam and Candyman for hi-jacking their conversation, but  as I'm one who lives in a conurbation but who bears in mind the old saying, "Never shit in yer own meadow", it set me wondering how far you're prepared to travel for a punt?

I'm fortunate that I'm near to the M62 to facilitate my punting - my Regular works about 35 miles away, as do many of the "Milfs along the M62" I hope to see next year.  So a round trip between 20 and 80 miles isn't unusual for me and is worth it because I only see MILFs who've got Positive reports on here.

What about the rest of you?

Generally limit it to one hours drive but will push that out a bit if someone really tickles my fancy.

The furthest for me so far was about 65miles (each way). Actually I think most of my punts are over 10miles away.

The immediate area round me is a bit of a punting desert, so I tend to have to travel a bit. Generally 45 minutes is my maximum, but I'll stretch to an hour if it's someone I really like the look of. This is more likely for girls near major roads and motorways that I know have more reliable traffic. Any further than an hour and it starts to feel like it's taking up the whole day.

Well I travel quite a bit with my business so I get to pump up and down the country. But when I'm in a  specific area I tend to only look within a 5-10 mile radius, as I'm typically in big cities. If I wanna see anybody any further then I'll wait until I am going to/past that area and book something.

Work send me up and down the M1 and also cross country on the M62 quite a bit. I therefore have no set limit as to how far I travel when I am being paid by work to do this. 

Only difficulty is fitting a punt in as the schedules can sometimes be very tight.

I live in the Welsh valleys and there is not a lot of girls for me to choose from.  Newport is not too far from me and I would punt there more often but it has gone downhill in the last few years.  Therefore I tend to punt in Cardiff or Bristol, so that is between 25-40 miles for me, but there is a lot of choice and I have my regulars.

i moved from the NE England area to NE scotland. my reg is now 170 miles away and i try to get once or sometimes twice a month, by car if the weather is ok, or train otherwise. and very worthwhile it is too!

For me its not the distance itself, its the time away (away from home or business etc) that is the problem. If i have to travel and hour each way and i have an hour punt (thats the usual time for me) then thats 3 hours away.

Its often very difficult for me to have a valid reason for a 3 hour absence!! So most of my punts are now "local".

Generally speaking, no more than 20-25 minutes. Ideally the closer the better, but that's because I'm lazy and also don't want the extra expense in travel, fuel etc. I've seen a couple of lasses that are less than a five minute stroll from my house...ideal for me, but not everyone's cup of tea.

Next year though, I plan to do some more "long range" punting, seeing girls that aren't local. The North East has a couple I want to see, and there's at least one in the East Midlands who I'm very keen to see.

Let's hope petrol prices come down again, I am a tight Yorkshireman after all

Yes I live  15 minutes from the  m1 and as you say I can travel 60 plus miles north south east or west  at the right time of day so it's a huge choice  of pussy.

I try to keep it to an hour's drive, hour with the girl and then an hour back. Can be awkward at times to be away from my home area for longer. Tend to visit more local girls on a regular basis........shorter drive = longer shagging

Time is usually the constraint with me - I really have better things to do than travel far for pussy. 1 hour is about the outer edges of what i'll do, prefer 20/30 minutes which tends to limit where I get to but tbh when I've traveled further the percentage of being messed around isn't reduced - I just end up being more angry as a result.

If you saw her you would agree that it is worth every penny of the close on £400 it is costing me in airfares, girls fees ((for an overnight extending into tomorrow afternoon), food, drink etc.

Commuting into London means most of my punting takes place there. I use the underground mostly,so no need to explain parking or speeding tickets either

The shortest distance for me is a 10/15 min walk or a few mins drive as my apartment is next to two big upmarket hotels that touring girls seem to always use so that's where most of my punts have taken place. That's how I work, 1 hour max for 90% of my punts. I will on occasion stretch it to 90 minutes but that's rare and puts me under the pressure.

If FRs on here make it sound the WG's worth an hour's drive; and it means I'm not "shitting in my own midden", then it's a 'win-win'!

As a 1 off, My furthest by car journey is a round trip of 70miles and then theres London, which for some reason takes up the whole bloody day with the sodding trains- underground-to and from local station, waiting at Wgs location.....

It is the other way round. I travel for my work, once a week 25 or 30 miles most weeks, and every little while, maybe a couple of months, to another city.

So I punt when I travel rather than travel for a punt, because then I have the opportunity. On the way to or from the meeting or if an overnight away maybe a little more time built in for an hour of fun.
