duke street norwich premeir inn

once booked in can you avoid reception ?

or anywhere else in a 10 mile radius ?

It’s key entry unfortunately. I have been there once with a SB and had to meet her outside.

I think the Holiday Inn on Ipswich Road is OK.

Other alternative is a serviced apartment. There are some on St Giles which I know are used by WGs.

so once registered no passing a reception desk ?

i use a Premier inn in Shefield like that book in on floor 3 go to room . wait for the girl (or girls im greedy) to call lift to ground floor then lift to the room floor ideal ....

I have punted at the following hotels in Norwich with no issues with (Card) access, although not post Covid, so may have changed.

Holiday Inn Carrow Road and Ipswich Road
Mercure - Whiffer Road External Link/Members Only
Best Western / Brook hotel - Barnard Road External Link/Members Only

Appartments - (I am aware WGs have used these, but not visited personally)
Vauxhall appartments - External Link/Members Only

Norwich Mercure was fine late last year, walk straight past reception they don't bat an eye.

To be fair i haven't used hotels for meeting W/G's but have done when i have been away for gigs etc and met mates in their hotels and have always just walked past and gone up to the rooms, most staff aren't worried, if you look like you know where you are going they will just assume you are staying there.

Appreciate the Assembly Rms are at the pricey end but they have self contained rooms away from the main reception.

What about The Georgian Townhouse and Apartments on Unthank Road, Norwich. The Apartments are opposite the hotel in a separate building.
