I think it is totally wrong to judge someone that you've never met .  She was obviously upset by him asking if he could see her for £50 for 30 mins  and  just got angry.

I'm sorry but in any business I've been involved in, making an offer wouldn't be met with such a rude response. It's just an offer, however intended. There's a polite way to say "no thanks", yes? I've made plenty. No prossie has ever told me to "fuck off".

I quoted for a bit of work recently, not a huge job, but there was a decent amount of work in it for me. I gave what I thought was a fairly cheap, yet fair quote of just under two grand, based on previous experience of similar projects.

Few weeks passed & the client responded saying how he was astounded with my price & from his previous experience of similar projects he expected it to be £900 max & offered me the work for that price.

I thought about how to respond to the polite, yet cheeky email for a while, taking a break from work & perusing a favourite forum of mine online, stumbling across this very thread. Taking a cue from a lady called Kendra, whom it can only assume is some sort of PR expert, who described a similar (albeit tax free) low ball offer for a service she offered. I typed up a simple email response to my possible future client...

He responded with a further polite email, couldn't be arsed to read it so, just deleted it, following the lead of the PR expert.

It's bizarre. As you say, reverse bids show us the majority of prossies will lower their own rates. I have also had reasonable success asking for a discount straight off the bat.

Posters who say, "would you ask in a shop for a discount?" are being, at best, selective in their analogy. I would say it depends on the shop. Tesco? No, but then I can also return an unsatisfactory product to Tesco and they are regulated by professional standards organisations.

I'd more readily liken a punt transaction to buying a second hand car, private seller to private buyer. Would you pay the asking price for a second hand car without any attempt to haggle? If so, more fool you.

Don't worry about offending the prossie by making her think you think of her as a commodity, she has already done that by slapping a price tag on her own arse.

She is charging £100 per hour, that works out at £50 for the half. He never asked her for £50 for an hour.

2.  they are selling their bodies here, £50 wouldn’t get you 3 lap dances these days let alone full sex with a genuine hot girl.

£50 for 30 mins is the going rate in Newcastle. I am not sure about Glasgow but it cannot be that far out given that Glasgow is considered and renowned for being one of the most poorest cities in the UK.

Not necessarily, my preferred time is 45 mins. And AW does not even allow that to be put as an option. And girls don't ever think to put it in their text when they do list prices. But if you ask a lot accommodate for it.

Plus she does do a half hour service if her post on Saafe is to believed, she only stopped on Saturday when her one hour discount special offer started.

Good post Daffodil,  I like the way you answer the "Shop Discount" question. Very good point, she is pissed off because she has been held accountable for poor behaviour,  even SAAFE have told her this, quite why people are getting upset on her behalf is beyond me.

I'm not saying she is a bad prossie plenty worse out there but she fucked up and shown herself up to be rude and arrogant when dealing with punters. It is very fair imo for this forum to point that out.

I do wonder why you want to go back but it does serve to demonstrate something. People often don't give that much of a crap being told to fuck off it they really want the product they'll look past it. Also "fuck off" doesn't have the impact it did in the past. IE she probably said it knowing timewasters will leave her alone and serious clients will likely pay her price. Personally I'd be more annoyed that she deleted the follow up email - at least "Fuck Off" keeps the dialogue going if that's what you want.

What makes you think she knows it was an error of judgement ? Have you had more contact from her ?

To me she's shown that she has an attitude problem, just suggesting a price she doesn't like dies not warrant being told to fuck off. Combine that with the 'up her own arse' profile and list of rules and regulations and personally I wouldn't bother. Too high a risk of a thoroughly unsatisfying punt. Unless being told to fuck off is all part of the attraction.

Actually, Saafe DO let the odd mention slip through, as long as it's not a post about how awful/wonderful UKP is. They don't allow "board wars", but this would apply to ANY other forum out there, and the general advice is to join the actual forum you have an issue with/praise for.

So a post containing "I know UKPunting has reviews, as does %%%" would probably stay, but a post containing "I know UKPunting members are all idiots" would be at risk of removal.

Personally speaking I am a bit surprised that is the consensus. I would say the girl should be wanting to see Minder more than he may ever want to see her.

She did a PR gaffe big style. And the easiest way to rectify it would be to see Minder and give him a great time so he gives her a nice review.

Everyone remembers the Gordon Brown and the bigoted lady gaffe a few years back, and what was the first thing he did, he went around to her house in person. It may not have saved him in the elections (or it might have done as he came a close second to Cameron) but it was the only thing he could have done in the circumstances.

Kendra should see the guy, for even the 50 quid for an hour never mind £50 for 30 mins, act all nice, demure and whatnot during it and then hope that the guy writes a review and says so. PR nightmare over then.

Everyone had got over this the topic had been dead for 3 days now with no likely chance of a resurrection until you posted.

If I was in Scotland I wouldn't book, simply because she charges too much, and is too arrogant about it. She was offended to the extent she was of the idea of working for £50 for 30 mins as she needs to get ready for that booking which is too much effort (when other girls seem to do it fine)

The thing she needs to realize is for those guys who are wanting to see her, the national minimum wage is £6.31 per hour. So that £50 works out as a full days hard graft for them.

8 x 6.31 = £50.48. (Plus tax and pension will be taken from that)

For that £50.48 they will need to get up likely at the crack of dawn, get ready, travel to and from, pack a lunch and then do 8hrs of likely shit difficult work. And she is moaning about getting that for 30 mins.

Of course these girls when they quit will all get into well paid accountancy jobs so I am not suggesting she would be working in this if not doing this, but many guys who work on poor paid jobs will get offended when girls talk about the amount they earn per day as insulting to them for 30mins and so insulting to not even be worth giving a polite response to a text message for.
