Bristol parlour scene updates thread

I had a couple of excellent visits to 60 West Street before I joined here, but then it closed in June, re-opened briefly with the same girls listed as Bath Road (so presumably taken over by the same management), and then rapidly closed again and has stayed closed ever since.  Website is still up and promises re-opening at some point External Link/Members Only but the shop is very much shut.

Then Bath Road website External Link/Members Only stopped working.  I haven't gone past since to see if the shop is physically shut or not.

Meanwhile City centre sauna website External Link/Members Only also proclaims it will be shut for a "few weeks", and has done for more than a few weeks already.  It points you at their "friends" at External Link/Members Only which is an almost identical website to the (former) Bath Road website with more overlapping staff listed.  I went there physically a few weeks ago during their published opening times and nobody answered the door, but I think it's open and I must have just been unlucky, as the rota keeps updating.

It seems a bit too coincidental that 2 or 3 parlours, apparently run by the same people, close for maintenance at the same time - anybody know what is going on?  I thought maybe the council/old bill cracking down but Shadows website External Link/Members Only is boasting half a dozen new EEs (and even a couple of English girls) and the sketchy oldmarket places are still going as far as I know.  Maybe somebody didn't pay their 'taxes'?

On the other hand, Ambassadors is unchanged, but so is the line-up in months. External Link/Members Only

Hopefully I can line up with Diamond's rather limited opening hours soon because otherwise Shadows is looking tempting despite all my better judgement.

All of these places basic listed price will get you HJ / OW / FS.  Up to the girl if she offers OWO, most of them will for another tenner in my limited experience.

Not a bad price at all for owo. Been to one in Cardiff. Was my first time in one. Found it to be very seedy. All the girls when they lined up just laughed which made me feel a tad uncomfortable. Any idea why they would laugh :s. But ur experience I guess may make me go to one in Bristol if I ever end up there

Some of Bristol's are quite seedy to be fair.  West Street wasn't at all, you could have run an NHS physiotherapist from there without changing a thing, which is another reason I am baffled at the supposed need to close for renovation. 

Most of those places the girls come out to say hello one by one, Shadows and Central are the only places I've been with a literal line-up.

Was passing College Green tonight so I cut through Denmark Street and it's full of film crew, done up as Soho.  Shadows has been turned into the Raymond Revuebar and they've got a fake Admiral Duncan next door.  Big yellow road sign saying "Businesses open as normal".  Yeah, right -- I'll definitely pop into the massage parlour in front of 100 cameras and crew

The two parlours on Stokes Croft have been shut since the end of June, maybe earlier, and don't look like re-opening soon. I used to see the girls popping out and going across the road to the shop opposite for supplies and they were fairly easy to spot.

Nice one for putting this up Southern, always useful to get some info, Bath Road is still open ( well it was last Tuesday as I went in), just looks like they haven't paid for the website. Does anyone know if the place in Fishponds is still going (Elm Grove?) and if it's worth a visit.

Cheers for confirming it's still there - website has come back today as well.  Apparently they have a new girl or two, although 'Alice' has dropped off the list before I got a chance which is a shame.

No idea about fishponds I'm afraid.

Blimey, NINE girls on the rota at shadows tonight.  I went there once and the overall vibe was surly-faced rather than warm enthusiasm, but with that much choice it's tempting to give the wheel another spin.

The only times I've been to parlours in Bristol in recent years they've been full of fat Romanians - though there was one very pretty very petite girl in Central Massage who looked amazing. But the service was still standard Romanian shit.

Back in the 90s some of those places where great. City Centa Sauna in Stokes Croft had some top girls from time to time.  An English frizzy-haired slim blonde called "Angel" was fcuking amazing.  I've given up hope of finding someone like her in a place like that again.

Yeah but if I open AW at 3am and look for someone available right now, with face pics, within walking distance - I'd not find a single one, let alone nine to choose from.  Some unseen face at a mystery, will-text-you-at-the-last-minute suburban postcode at 19:30 next Thursday is no use to me whatsoever, even if it is much cheaper, because (without doxxing myself too much) I can't promise to be available and interested there and then, in fact I can almost promise I won't be.  To each their own but the parlour thing is practical for me and if that costs a bit more than the best AW bargains so be it.  (That said I wouldn't endorse Shadows specifically as good value for money!)

I think there's one or two fat Romanians in Shadows but otherwise I have to say this isn't a picture I recognise.  Shadows looks to be mostly pretty + petite EEs (albeit you're probably right about the service).  South of the river I've seen few to no EEs, mostly Brits to my surprise, with a scattering of Brazilian, Spanish, ect.  I did find a fking amazing young English brunette in West Street earlier this year.  However since that closed I've not found anybody on the same level at all -- likewise starting to give up hope of finding similar, must have been pure beginners luck!

I used to go to lots around Bristol, so many have closed, the first one I was aware of was called The Geisha Rooms in Hotwells Road, and the one opposite the steps down from Stapleton Road station, there was another along Fishponds Road near the end of Lodge Causeway, one just off the top of Blackboys Hill, another at the top of St Micheals Hill. There was one near the bottom of Park Street opposite the Mauratania. the two mentioned in Stokes Croft plus I'd say about three in Old Market, as well as the one just past Gardiner Haskins CarPark. There was one at the top of a flight of stairs just off the Feeder Road and another just round the corner (which I have a feeling was a Madam Whiplash). One on Bath Road (in fact I think there were two almost next door to each other. West Street Bemmy, North Street and another in Whitehouse Street as well as the horrible Park House near the City ground. There was one in Cheltenham Road near The Arches and at least two along the Gloucester Road. I'm pretty sure but might be wrong that there was one In Downend, one in Staple Hill and maybe a couple in Kingswood. There was also a short lived one near the rubbish tip by the Dings I think used to be a Gay Sauna too. I have a useless memory but if anyone can put names to any it would be nice

However, I was aware of about half of them as they are quite visible.

I'm surprised about some of the others. Are/were they "shop style fronts" too?

I assume one of the ones you refer to in Kingswood is Melissa's, which is hidden away (still operating), and the one just off Feeder Road was above, or behind, the cafe so again hidden away (closed about 10 years ago).

Topps was pretty downmarket but now and then there would be the odd gem, including one who later did porn with Rocco Siffredi.

Tops was an absolute dive. You had to walk up a metal stairway, for all the world to see. And after braving that the bedrooms were bleak as hell with a single uncovered overhead light. But I had a couple of fantastic punts there with two lovely young EEs.

In that respect it was a bit like Adam and Eves. Both are very off putting when you go in and your first instinct is to turn and run. But if you take your pick carefully then you can find a real gem. I've had 4 great punts at A&Es with 4 lovely girls. Its not always the priciest parlours that have the best girls.

Having said that, I've walked away from A&Es plenty of times because there was no one at all tempting working that day.

First real parlour punt for me was Blondies and what sticks in my mind wasn't the girl, who I think was nearly twice my tender twenty something years, but the fact some US crap TV action series was on the TV at the time. I usually popped into Blondies once a month after the Gentleman's evenings at Seymours Club then went into the taxi office next door to get home, as I became a regular in that taxi firm they'd call up a cab for me and the £15 fare was ready to give to the driver as I got in. The 'rabid' Alsation belonged to Dave the owner who had a Rolls Royce IIRC

You did remember correctly, and there is priceless photographic evidence here: External Link/Members Only. Not that I ever felt the need to diverge from The Club in the other direction on Midland Road, however.

One at top of St Michaels Hill was called Damask Rose and had net curtains and no advertising or anything outside it, it was local knowledge that gave it away and if you've seen one 'secret' massage parlour then you know what to look for. I remember seeing one in Cardiff with the same MO. Never went in, closed when i was still a young man.

What turned me off visiting The Club was they used to charge a door fee, not sure if they still do.

My experience with parlours has always been that I end up paying more than the advertised price anyway. There's usually plenty of charges for so-called extras. Not that I really object to that, the lady has a living to make

I went to an excellent parlour about the year 2000 in the south of Bristol that had a 5 star rating from Muppets guide at that time. Cant think of the name. I would be grateful if some one can. It was roughly due south of Ambassadors parlour.

The rota page currently lists one names / descriptions I recognise from Bath Road, but also two (Lizzie, Sabrina) who were/are previously or currently also at Ambassador some days.  Fourth girl rings no bells from the website.  I'd go and take a look in person if I hadn't recently spunked the punting budget at Ambassador, which also has 2-3 new girls (one of whom is great, review soon).

Shadows never reopened after the pandemic lockdown.  The Stokes Croft ones I mentioned never reopened since my original post in 2019.  The Club on Midland Road closed, but some of the staff are now at 60 West St.  Bath Road is still generally good but the opening hours are variable.  Ambassador still has a mix of good and bad.  Diamonds still gets good reviews but there was some drama around them banning a UKP-er for reviewing them.

No rota on the web that I'm aware of for Diamonds, just need a quick call to find out who's working that day. Others currently open are the 2 on Old Market, Central where I've not been for years and Adam and Eve where I got totally ripped off a couple of months ago (part my fault for being drunk and not stopping it before everything became an extra)
Is the place on Fishpond's Road open. Elmgrove? Drove past recently and it looked like it was, not been for years and was always hit and miss, mostly EE's
