So, I got a fucking parking ticket the other day. Worse still, it was a fucking fair cop, and I can't even pretend to challenge it!

As the fine is reduced to £60, if paid within 28 days, the very first thought that came to my mind was ...

"Shit! That could've been a half-hour punt with !"

Whenever you waste cash, do you now think of it in terms of punting? If so, does this mean we're a bit addicted to our "hobby"?

Don't think I really waste cash, but yes, I do sometimes think of my expenses as punting cash. EG holiday money, presents, new clothes, meals out etc.
I think of punting, not so much as an addiction, but as therapy for the mind, body and soul

Yeah I think in that way all the fucking time. It shows that I can't really afford this shit and how often I'm preoccupied by it. I often only do overtime to cover my punting costs and cause it'll usually put me near someone's central London incall without having to pay for travel.

I'll get a Christmas Bonus, some money on Quidco, sell an old gadget, make or should I currently say lose some money on bitcoin and I'll wonder how that money will or could have been spent on punting.

Alternatively, I was fortunate enough to buy some Bitcoin a few years ago when it cost fuck all. I now look at the paper value of that as covering my punts for the period (which it would)

So now i can kid myself i haven't actually spent anything on whores.
