Happened to me a couple of times many years ago when still new to punting and a bit naive. Once asked for change, got my £5 and then has a crap punt, and I mean super crap, because she was pissed about it. Second time wanted to make a point and walked.

Now anal about it and always have correct money after agreeing services / cost in advance. Did once pay with 5 x £1 coins and the Rom wasn’t happy but probably wouldn’t have been happy regardless!

It's bizarre if you think about it, where else do you get refused when you ask for your change back? Parking meters maybe, but it's not like they ever steal an extra £10 off you.

TBF, you could ask for change, but you run the chance of her saying she hasn't got change.   

If you leave her property to get change, she may cancel your booking and not accept another booking from you for timewasting

Back in the street days I would put 15 in one pocket, 20 iin another.. Because some charged 15 but wouldn't have change..

If they would see 35 in your hand, they would somehow up price to 35 "for a real good time, tits and oral.." etc.. (ie what you can get for 20 usually)

Some will, some won't. Always best to keep the correct price on you rather than relying on getting change.

Nowadays I wouldn't quibble about a fiver but I would still ask. I would call it my stupidity tax for not having the right cash with me. I usually have some extra anyway (in various denominations) so I can upgrade the punt if I want, e.g. if you're having a great half hour, it's easy to extend to an hour.

Ages ago I arranged a £50 half hour punt and I foolishly took 3 twenties. She claimed she didn't have change so I said OK, I'll go elsewhere. Miraculously she suddenly thought she could ask her friend and left to get the tenner. She was waving it to me as I said I didn't like her attitude and showed myself out.

Always take correct money (with backup notes just in case more is offered than I first expect).  Never had a problem with getting change at the massage parlour for the massage but the girl will probably pull a face if you ask her for change when it comes to giving her the tip.  So, that's where plan A comes in....

Thai massage shop in Cardiff used to have a discount in morning from £45 down to £37. No idea why they picked that figure but in fairness, they always gave the 3 £ coins change from two twenties. I was quite happy to give the coins as a tip to the masseuse, whether or not HE was on the cards (usually for extra £20).

Heading to a hastily arranged last minute punt that I knew would cost me £50 I realised I only had £20 notes on me. Fuck fuck fuck I thought and made a conscious effort to detour to a cash point and grab a tenner..... rather that than ask for change or worse still, say she can keep the change.
