So I was looking for a half hour booking at a reasonable rate ideally in my city as I can't be bothered to travel far today. Found a profile and it is £60 for half hour, girl is British, has a nice figure, can't see her face in pics but you have a good feeling she will be hot. I'm thinking great lets's give this a go. I message her on adultwork, get a reply back in a few mins and she says she is free at x time, and to make a booking, I'm like okay great I will do, as soon as I am on the verge of making a booking and enter duration as 0.5 hours (half hour) price says £90 I'm like huh so I go back on her page and the rates have randomly gone up to £90.
I immediately respond saying sorry just noticed your rates have gone up to £90 for half hour which is too high for me, would have been fine for £60 for half hour which I first saw when I messaged you. She then said well I can do £70 for half hour for you. I decided to decline, yes maybe I am being a little tight over £10 considering the amount I have spent over bookings before  but it is the principle.

Has anyone ever had anything similar before? I understand girls sometimes do change there rates but it was just so odd that as soon as I messaged her it was changed.

In a word, yes. I'd say rare that it jumps on AW between messaging and booking, perhaps you appeared wealthy. 

Some girls don't know what's on their profile at all.

Some girls with AW profiles also have adverts up elsewhere with no prices listed, so when the phone rings or when you arrive they don't realise you've seen their prices and make up a (high) price.

A bit of a grey area: the fact she asked for the AW booking implies that the agreement hadn't been formally made. However, if she had just agreed over email then that's a booking IMO. Feels like dodgy behaviour to potentially trap a punter but I think she gets away with it on a technicality,

Even if that was the case the timing of her prices changing and OP's message smacks of a classic attempt to squeeze him for more cash. Raise prices, then offer a "discount" that's still above the original advertised price. You get it in all forms of business, and people fall for it because it tricks them into thinking they're saving money.
