Interesting thread on SAAFE regarding how to get reviews removed

Just goes to show the growing influence of UKP and how more and more punters every day are using review sites when selecting WG's. I have seen the impact of TripAdvisor in the last few years and how that has had a positive influence on customer service. Hopefully we will eventually see a general improvement in WG standards as well in the long term.

The escort was asking how to remove comments due to potentially being outed by someone. I've asked for posts about me to be removed from forums before where I felt the post was too personal and could possibly identify me should anyone I know were to read it, on the couple of occasions I've asked to do this the comments in question were positive. As far as I'm aware most of the contributors on that thread were not advocating removing negative comments and reviews.

It wasn't so much the content I was commenting on if personal information is disclosed I can understand that might need to be amended (not necessarily the whole review removed) but that is up to admin. To be honest I have never seen that on UKP as most punters are sensible when writing reviews. My point was the fact that reviews are being discussed more and more on both sides of the fence, leading me to think that the AW feedback system is becoming far less important than it once was and review sites are becoming more and more relevant. Imho that is a good thing for punters.

I disagree that bad reviews do not affect prossies, admittedly at the moment not to the same extent as other businesses but Imho they are becoming more important every day.

Indeed, and as i posted on another thread some SPs hate the advent of sites like this as it puts them under scrutiny, they would much prefer that not to be the case. Bad luck and accept the reality.

In addition some SPs blatantly tout to get punters BUT still moan and groan about being under scrutiny. The Divines being the classic pimp example of this. He never seemed to get it that free publicity wasnt free, it came at the cost of minute scrutiny.

Yes, it does the genuine cases no favours. I was involved in a situation where a young 19 year old WG was really being stalked, i saw the evidence of calls, emails and presents sent, the guy was a complete nutcase. So it does happen but how is admin to know what is true and what isnt when so many try it on. Shame on those that make up lies to try to get what they dont like deleted.

But seriously if you had a great punt why wouldn't you want to tell people! I did when I had mine the other day! Its like going to a great concert and not telling anyone who the band was. The girls whinging must be stupid they want our money so put up with our GOOD or BAD reviews... Simple!

Which over time as the forum grows i hope will change. To a relatively small level it is having an effect with some now as shown by raving WGs joining after getting negative reviews/feedback.

Divine would most certainly disagree with all publicity is good publicity as he got caught out shagging one of his WGs who posted about it on here after his wife went ape-shit at both and online on their twitter account.

Yes that, or perhaps revealing gory details which fly in the face of the public image some would wish to project. For example, a website describing a 'high class courtesan', wearing classy dresses and having professional pictures is somewhat tarnished, when the reviewing punter delights in shooting his man milk down her throat and over her face! That profile doesn't read quite so classy anymore, does it?

Some men can be quite squeamish too and may think twice about wining and dining an SP, who they've just read being ragged rotten. So on a serious point, even a positive review can have a detrimental effect on a prossies's business.

Of course you are right but we can't do much for the punters who are unaware of UKP all this site can do is try to look after its own and hope when new members join they stay, contribute and don't get put off. The more educated punters there are in the world the better for all punters in the long term as the bad drop out or improve and the good get the work and become role models for the newbie prossies.
