Currently negotiating a meet with a newbie who I have to say doesn't know how much she should be charging and had rather inflated expectations.
I think we've got to an hourly rate that's just about acceptable. She claims she isn't prepared to go any lower because AW take quite a large cut.

I always assumed AW made it's s money from promoted listings and taking a cut of AW credits spent on videos etc. I wasn't aware they charged girls a fee for in person bookings, or is that bullshit?

Difficult one, she only has 3 photos on AW so hard to say how fit she is. I've also never popped someone's escorting cherry and I wonder what the service provision will be like. AW make money from escort/in person meets from displaying their phone numbers, available today, and for advertising / being “featured”.

They charge the girls to:
display a phone number per day £1
To show as available today per day £5
To be listed under local escorts,  both town and region per day £2,40 +
Escort of the day per day by bids that rise as you get closer to the day  there are a limited amount of slots £15 upwards to £60+ it's a similar cost to "feature " a girls profile
I believe they also charge for allowing girls to display their own Web link and they must display an aw link on their site in return (others will know more on this bit)
They have charges for everything they can think of and if you cash in your credits they take a fee or cut of that so if you had 200 in credits and cashed out you would get about 160 is.

There isn't a charge for web link as such, only that phone number display must be used and banner displayed on the linked site.

Also for a tour to show the SP must be using a paid facility eg phone number display.

If we want more detail AW charge the SP a connection fee for each webcam and phone chat session, based on a percentage of the SS spend on that cam or call session.

Why do people insist on speculating when the easiest way to get accurate answers is to look on their site.   

Update: As of 1st January 2021, the UK have officially left the European Union and for VAT purposes are now considered 'Rest of World'. This means AdultWork is no longer required to apply VAT on Administration fees or promotional facilities to those offering their services from within the UK.

Yeah but usually you'd see the pro rata charge reduce for a longer booking, she wants it to be a flat £150/hr for 4 hours. I could live with that if she's any good, but her initial proposed flat rate of £250/hr was ridiculous IMO. She also wanted a deposit, trying to convince me it's standard practice and I was like No. Fucking. Way.

Aw used to charge the escort VAT on the services they provide for the escort and they have to pay AW in the same way a punter does to view a PG etc.

An escort who lists as being in Leicester for town and Leicestershire for county will show up in those areas in searches and if you go to the area search and just scroll the escorts in that county.

By using the paid for features the escort will come up at the top of the list,will show first in any searches including the parameters of Leicester etc and will be at the top of the list when you looking the full county list.

So someone touring can use them to be more visible above the resident girls
