This is possibly slightly off topic but it is in direct reply to Recycler's point about the value of this site.

At the moment I'm finding it very difficult to keep abreast with some of the current threads because I have lost the ability to tick the "Notify me button " and therefore

I'm not receiving emails drawing my attention to your contributions and the ongoing lively debate taking place.

Nor am I receiving emails notifying me of any PM's

I have reported this to Admin, which in itself is no easy task, as the ADMIN button has also disappeared.

Has anyone else got this problem ???

Problem is way too many members have old (i.e. closed) email addresses which affects a good percentage of the 1,000+ emails this site sends out, and email providers (e.g. Outlook) penalize those who constantly pound their servers with invalid email addresses.
The obvious solution of forcing members to re-verify email addresses, implement automated bouncing, etc. is of course possible, but a pain.
