Hotel advice Bristol

Hope you're all well. Thinking about booking the harbour hotel. Is it key access to get to lift/stairs? Will anyone have an issue getting by reception?

Aside: It's a fairly new hotel, not long been converted. Used to be a bank IIRC.
You might not get a lot of feedback - just managing expectations.
But from memory of its layout, I'd guess it's not like a typical chain where it's easy to walk past reception, as it's a relatively small building on a busy street where any random can walk in, and is more at the boutique end of the scale. So my guess is it could be a challenge.

No idea about the harbour hotel, but ive found the Harbourside ibis and the Future in at Cabots circus good places for nailing a SP in. Neither require key cards for the lift.  The Hilton Gqrden Inn doesnt have key carfs for the lift either and sometimes has day rates although i dont recall having ever had recreational sex there.

The hotel was very user-friendly for my purposes and very close to Temple Meads

The Grand is just round the corner from The Harbour if want something fancy looking thats easy to bypass reception
