I'm looking at a trip over to Poland in about a months time cannot decide on weather to go to Wroclaw or Gdansk. Does anyone have any information on either city or any contacts worth trying. I've already been to Krakow and enjoyed it and used the usual websites for Poland.

Offline DaveyboyC

I've been to wroclaw twice mate. Lovely place!

Offline Troydor69

Wrocław is a beautiful city I really enjoyed it. Gdańsk is the next place I’d like to visit, it’s also a favourite city of a few of my Polish friends.

I haven’t punted in either of those but External Link/Members Only is a decent site.

I don't know whether you've booked yet, but I was over in Wroclaw for 3 months for work and I punted a couple of times during my stay. At the time there are some girls who have very good rates if you took the time to shop around a bit.

I found that sometimes if you spoke English they would not respond/put the phone down. Probably due to the language barrier more than anything else. But those who I did go to see were pretty damn good, I never felt rushed. Maybe I was just lucky but hey ho!

As for the city itself - absolutely beautiful, loads of culture packed into the place. If you have the opportunity to go to the town centre and are a fan of ale, there is a microbrewey named the Spiz which was fantastic.

Have a nice trip!

I am visiting Krakow next month and thinking of adding Wroclaw for a couple of nights. Looking around for punts the girls seem much fitter in Wroclaw. Maybe because it is a university City.

Yeah booked up for next month so if you  have any recommendations if would be appreciated. I'll have to check out the real ale place you mentioned I do like a nice pint. Good tip I'll try to message using Google translate at first.

Wroclaw is a lovely city to visit as a tourist - enjoy.

Does anyone have recommendations for Poznan?

Offline CraigsDavid

Poznan is a fantastic city, with a ‘strip’ of bars leading to the main square that are fairly lively good atmosphere. Makes a change as most polish city’s bar are just around the main square, out of krakow Poznan Gdansk and wroclaw I found Poznan to be the best. That was just me and the missus back then had a great time.

Whilst searching for meets I have been put off from going Poland at all. A few have told me no when I they found out I was from England. And told me to pretend to be Irish in Poland because they hate England.

I don’t really want to go to that country at all now 🤣. Shame I have a flight booked to come home I can’t change. I might just write it off.

Don't be put off mate. If I was dry like that I'd head straight to the nearest massage place and get a 4 hander for 500 pln x times the hour.

Can't understand why you're not lining them up. 😕

I have had a couple of massage offers with young slim looking girls. 300zl for the hour was the standard quote.

I just find them generally cold in their responses. I go through the translation and all I ever get is Tak in response. The translations also don’t make much sense some of the time so unsure what services I will get.

The Polish WGs over here are generally decent who have probably learned to put on the fake enthusiasm. The ones over there seem to be still stuck in a Soviet mentality. It is like getting blood out of a stone.

If the general population is like that I think I will be depressed before I even get to visit Auschwitz.

Thanks but I signed up for erodate which seems to be something similar. Is this one much different?

Escortclub seems to have a lot of escorts but it seems the same women have a lot of different profiles.

Erodate is a sex site full of escorts. GBC is the Polish version of Seeking with loads of students looking for arrangements.
When I used it in Krakow, I had so many fit girls in my phone wanting to meet I couldn’t find time to fuck them all

Erodate is very similar to gbc they both have wg's on the sites.

Can't do any harm trying though.

I've nothing arranged so far for my next trip but I'm confident I'll have 2 or 3 girls visiting when I go.

GBC is a bit more expensive too. I will have a proper look later but I don’t really like the layout.

You may be right but I have lost any enthusiasm to go to Poland to be honest. Not necessarily because of the punting but just in general.

If you are limiting your travels to places who do not have some antipathy towards England your options are diminishing..

If you cannot manage the accent pretend to be a white South African, the Poles will be none the wiser.

Has the  BREXIT effect slipped your mind? After all the UK voted to leave the EU , quite a bit of the leave vote was based on blatant xenophobia, especially of East Europeans, how can you expect them to like you back?

Basic manners, respect and a smile makes a difference in most social situations, plus they have a different culture to the UK.  :hi:

The Poles haven’t liked us since long before BREXIT mate. Even the ones that decided to move here.

It probably goes back to 1945 and selling them out to the Russians.

Because they can earn five times as much as they can in their own country. Who wouldn’t do the same for a few years? Don’t mistake that for having any love for this country. Look at my link from above. They have some nerve, I will give them that.

Please stop being a lefty. This country is no more racist than any other country. Please look at my link above and remember this is only one of many instances.

Who on earth moves to a foreign country to open up a business and then bans that country’s citizens? In a small way I admire the nerve of them but then I remember we seem to have millions like you in this country who will constantly defend them whatever they do. No wonder we are seen as mugs.

More nonsense, listen to yourself, gaslighting, playing the victim.

It was GB that wanted to leave, not the EU kicking GB out, clear?

The 26 EU peoples felt that GB was no longer the place for them, quite a few left, their choice.

They've got a nerve, who are you kidding?

Again. You completely ignore the link I provided which happened seven years before Brexit. If you think you can move to a country and behave like that then, yes, you have got some nerve. By that time though they thought they were untouchable.

Ask a Polish person who has lived here for over 15 years to name a character from Coronation Street? Who their local MP is? Name the four members of the Beatles? None of them can do it. Because they have made no effort to integrate themselves into this country’s culture. They despise it.

This is the most ridiculous post i have seen on here. Who watches Coronation Street ?  Who knows The Beatles ? ( and what does it matter anyway ? ). And how many people can name their local MP ? hardly anyone , i am guessing.

It is not ridiculous. It shows how integrated into this country’s culture they are. Ask 1000 random Britons over the age of 18 these questions and I would guess 90% could name any character from Coronation Street, 70% could name the Beatles and 50% could name their local MP. Ask 1000 random Poles in this country and it would be below 1%.

They laugh at people like you who will not see a word said against them.

It is irrelevant whether I am a fan or not. If you have never heard of Ken Barlow whilst living this country you must be living in your own world. Which Poles often do whilst laughing at how weak this country and its people are.

So , by your standards, to be let into the UK, Polish people have to know what is going on in Coronation Street ?

This is a ridiculous statement, if there is any country that have came here and tried to integrate then it’s the polish, I have played in same football teams as them, go for meals drinking etc , I can’t say that for other nations , I am far from and advocate for mass immigration but if there is one country I am happy to accept from then it’s Poland , so you even know any poles first hand?

Change your name to Jon Snow, since it is clear that "You know nothing".

Been to Poland loads, there hasn't been animosity towards me ever. It may surprise you that, having good manners and being respectful towards other people, ends up with them treating you the same.

If you ever compare a Pole to Russian to their face, expect to have yours smashed in. They would appreciate the comparison about as much as a Scot would being called a Cockney. A couple of years back, I could excuse you not knowing this, but have you read the news lately? Maybe skip an episode or two of Corrie and turn on the News, you might end up better informed.

I must admit that my jaw hit the floor when I saw this - until I saw the date.

The idea that Poles are deep-down Russians makes even spaghetti harvests look sensible.  Poland has been one of the most active and vocal European countries in its support of Ukraine, so deeply embedded is their dislike and distrust of Russia.

I suspect that if you asked 1000 random Britons over 50, you might get the results you suggest.  I doubt if you asked most younger than that, you would find many who watch Corrie, could name their local MP, and know little more of the Beatles than they are some group that grandad used to listen to back in pre-historic days before mobile phones had been invented.  Expecting immigrants to fare any better is a bit like the idiotic idea that they should be expected to name the English cricket team.

I have visited many Polish shops in England, and never in any of them have I ever been treated badly.  Yet as the basis for your argument that all Poles hate the British, you have provided ONE link to ONE decades-old incident where ONE Polish shop refused to serve English customers.   It might have been more illuminating had the reporter bothered to ask why the shop-keeper was refusing to serve English customers.  Polish shopkeepers (like the Asians before them) have been on the receiving end of a lot of aggravation from Little-Englanders alarmed at such shops "taking over city centres".
