It was in an American news report I stumbled across a few months back, don't have the details now. It mentioned AW by name, but of course you have to allow for the hyperbole and misinformation associated with all USA news reporting...
But...
As to aliases....they can be tied to an IP address, and while Adultwork may be based in Malta, and the website registrant is Panamanian,  the website is American registered and subject to USA legal demands. And don't forget punting phones have to be paid for, and Americans rarely use cash, making them very traceable

Profoundly depressing. On a superficial level, you'd expect this to be happening in the God-bothering Bible belt, rather than in supposedly laid-back and liberal places like California and Seattle. A lot of Roman Catholic countries have got to the point where they ignore the pope on a lot of issues except when he visits. Brazil is another example. Whereas 19 out of 20 Spaniards are Roman Catholics only about a fifth of Americans are - most of the rest are evangelicals ("we believe whatever the fuck some TV con-artist told us") or Protestants ("we just agree with anything that looks broadly Christian but honestly we haven't got a clue what we believe").

RCs know what they are meant to believe so it is easy to disagree with it and say a few hail marys before you die, get married etc etc.
