So what do people predict for the state of punting 2023.

As in what do people predict for prices, wg demographics, number of punters, levels of services etc.

I was pessimistic for 2022 and wgs being wgs, I'll stick to my pessimism until we're back to frictionless travel.

What are the problems with travel, my kids have all gone off to Thailand, one came home tonight, the wife went to Ireland, as I did a few weeks ago, and the GF is off to ST. Lucia on Friday. No friction  :unknown:

I predict another year of your misery

You still need to apply for a visa to come from the EU. That along with the collapse of the pound has ruined the superior overseas imports.

2022 still ended on a good note for me.

You could have fooled me , but then I should have guessed it was Brexit bollocks causing your misery  Will you ever let it go?

Don't want to start bringing politics up but you sound like an archetypal remoaner. It's been 6 and a half years, get the fuck over it.

As for predictions, I don't know. May as well ask how long is a piece of string? :unknown:

Punting is a luxury hobby and if we going to cut back due to cost of living (COL) this would normally be the 1st thing and working girls would react by lowering the price.

Those are are in the higher end market £250+ an hour will continue to charge those fees and those that can afford it will continue to pay as COL would barely affect them.

Those in the mid range £150-£200 may need to be smart on their pricing and service, some SP got away with average service for years and I doubt they will improve their service, there's somethings people just don't have it in them and being a SP is an extra income for them.

I'm aware of few girls I punted or on my hotlist stopped working and these I included in the list been doing this for 2 years plus (many reasons not just lack of business or COL).

With London being a global city and one of the better places to live and earn a living I can see constantly fresh supply and those that do well will stay and earn their living. Just think of it as any job, if your good at it you stay and get rewarded with pay rise if not you change jobs or work harder, longer hours and improve your skill set.

Pre-dick-tions, for 2023 = Where there's a demand, there's a supply.

Especially for 20 to 23 year old's  :)

Chadpitt, you won't be surprised to find some folks will never accept that Brexit was a big mistake on so many levels  :dash:

Only if you want to stay longer than 6 months, otherwise you don’t need a visa

They rather cut their nose to spite their face then to admit it was financially damaging for the UK. My neighbour is a staunch Brexiteer, both kids on the dole 22 and 28, his words was no jobs for the Brits yet both kids no qualifications and Brexit was how many years ago.

No visa needed as a tourist, but you now very much do need a visa to work, even if it's only short term. And you won't be getting one for prostitution, I'm pretty sure...

You can of course work illegally (and not pay taxes)  :angelgirl:

Buying sex in Scotland will be made illegal although this might not be when the law will take effect.

Not really a prediction, more an observation, but it seems to fit here.

Pre-covid, my HL stood at around 50 escorts. Over recent years it dropped to about half that number, probably due to both a shortage of escorts and an increased wariness on my part. Now it is back up to the mid-30s and steadily climbing again. I hope this is a good sign for 2023.

Online RandomGuy99

Predictions:

The number of escorts will increase slightly with some who retired during COVID returning and some newbies starting in response to the cost of living crisis but I suspect very few women will say I'm going to start escorting cos the electric bill has gone up. They might seek second "regular" jobs or if they have the looks get into OnlyFans or other digital content selling due to the coverage it gets in the media. I noticed that quite a few escorts that I've seen before have disappeared probably due to them finding other work during COVID.  From chatting to them I knew some were already looking to get out of the business and get back to a "regular" job.

Prices might come down a little due to punters having less to spend and the escorts needing to keep them visiting but at the same time the escorts costs may rise so they may need to keep prices high, but that might reduce the number of bookings. There has been a post-COVID boom in prices due to pent up demand and the escorts wanting to recover income lost due to COVID.

It all depends on how the recession pans out. If the job cuts that are hapoening in the US start happening in the UK then unemployment will rise and people will have less to spend on non-essentials. The government has to make cuts and increase taxes to pay for the lending done during COVID and now to support people during the cost of living crisis. We'll all end up paying for it one way or another.

There is a steady rise in my hot list gals to £200/hr. No reduction in their price list so far.
I have cut back on punting and only go for a good bet, rather than go anywhere. I am looking for value now.

Offline itk

Prices will continue to rise would be my prediction. Although recently where I am, prices on viva street seem to have dropped slightly. Although the amount of bait and switch girls on there is incredible, one I messaged Tuesday wasn’t the girl in the photos, and 30 mins later the profile was featured, but 200 miles away in Kent.
