It's a numbers game, at present roughly 55k people have been tested for coronavirus in the country, that's only 1 in 1200 people, of those 3200 have tested positive, only one in 17 of those tested, and that's only 1 in nearly 22,000 of the population, you can argue that with the levels of intimacy you're more likely to pass it on to a WG and more likely to pick it up form them so those figures will increase, but even if it were 10x more chance of picking it up on a punt that's 1 in 2,200 of meeting somebody with it that might pass it on to you. That's pretty decent odds, and unless you're very old or very ill the effects will only range between hardly being able to notice to aches, a cough and fatigue, and, unlike STIs you can actually pick it up off a door handle, so there's no embarrassing explaining to do.
I'm an opportunist punter, so if the change arises then I'm not going to worry about it.
