Excuse my rambling reply.

I'm the wrong side of 50. I believe that regular masturbation / sex can improve prostate health

I find if I want to have a good sex session (cum twice with volume twice in an hour) I need to abstain for about 3 days, although sometimes it may be down to general fitness attitude

If I'm fairly sure that I'm not going to see a provider for a few days or I'm stuck in a hotel I often have a morning and evening wank it makes me more relaxed and help me sleep and deal with idiots at work.

I did find that my frequency of wanking dropped off quite a lot during lockdown -- I put it down to being a visual person whose libido was driven by what I saw during the day, and porn just didn't really cut it.

Generally it's a few times a week, but up to a couple of times a day depending on other factors like level of energy, how much sex I've been getting recently and so on.
