Agreed. Plus statistics can be made up on the spot and it doesn't apply to this forum, but certainly on other forums the prossies have used STD horror stories to scare newer escorts into offering less services. I think some punters are willing to take the risk and are grown-up enough to realise the risk before doing bareback, others aren't interested and find it disgusting, others may do it on a whim. Some escorts offer it, some don't, whether they are skanks or not is a matter of opinion.

HIV no longer carries the death sentance it once used to. People can live with it and its manageable. It's still pretty serious and something you have to take a horrible cocktail of drugs for everyday.

Even so you won't ever catch me having unprotected sex with casual or paid partners.

As for owo. I receive conflicting reports from health care professionals. I provide owo at the moment despite getting a wrist slap from some clinics. I wouldn't worry about HIV from unprotected oral. But gonorrhoea and Clamydia are possibilities so to is genital herpes. (If the WG has coldsores).
I know many WGs go years and years providing owo and not contracting anything.

If anyone can provide accurate statitics to the risks or giving and receiving unprotected oral I would very interested.

As someone who works in this field this is NOT true. 

Viruses related infections are highly transmissible for simple example the common flu virus among many others. Also viruses depending on transmission route are highly contagious.  am not sure where you got the stats to say "getting HIV from unprotected sex are lower than you might imagine, think they're kept hushed up,". There are verified and published  scientific and medical papers which will prove your statement is inaccurate. During needle stick injury there is much more chance of catching Hep B than HIV or Hep C due to the concentration of this particular virus. BUT this in not true for unprotected sex.

Also just to let you know there are published scientific and medical papers regarding transmission of HIV from unprotected oral sex.

I would like to request you to ensure you check and make sure of facts before posting.

While HIV get the main billing there are other STIs which get transmitted.

For example Chlamydia infected person might be asymptomatic (no outward symptoms) and still pass it on to others. Herpes can be caught before an outbreak from a person infected with it. This one is for life too. Although not fatal will lead to periodic outbreaks throughout your life which is very uncomfortable and unpleasant.

Syphilis if not treated can cause permanent damage to brain.

My intention is not to scare but I think there are other STIs along with HIV which should be considered when talking about unprotected sex.

Would never even consider it, I have an autoimmune condition that requires really fcking strong immunosuppressants just to manage - anything more than a cold disables me for weeks. Even I didn't have it I would not consider it unless I absolutely trusted the person it was with, so either someone I was in a relationship but for a WG never not even if they offered 100% off.

I think it is to much of a gamble as I would not want to visit a gum clinic and worrry that I could have caught hiv which may not show for years.

People giving out false or inaccurate information really annoy me as I find it irresponsibility on their part. It's shame I wasn't a member when the post was posted in 2013.
