HAVE  WE MET ?

Show your appreciation and send me a tip - new AW feature ?

Looks like AW are rolling out a new feature.

The tip seems to be made in AW credits - so  like paying for a PG without there being any pictures involved ?

Just like OF . Tip me baby !

Offline Stevelondon

Show my appreciation and tip !!!!!

For what, why.

I’ve given the odd fiver here or there if it was, let’s say a massage somewhere. When the fee turned out to be £65 for instance.

But tipping just cos I want to show my appreciation without even meeting the lass.

I don’t think so 😂

Hardly tip when the waitress does fuck all but take the order and bring the food, damned if i'm tipping a bird on the net for doing nowt!

A SIMPs charter it seems, ridiculous.

Maybe it's been brought in for punters availing the services of cam girls, that would make sense wouldn't it?

The only tip I leave is in the condom  :D

(and not the tip of my penis, I must ad for clarity)

Joking aside, it's getting a bit much now with some of these new "features" on AW.

I've enabled it on my AW account too, so the SPs can leave a tip for me. £0 so far.

It’s the enshittification of the site now.. Entrepreneurs have got their hands on it and they are going to milk it for what the user base and girls are worth. Owners are certain to take a hefty cut. Think this could be the end for AW that new mobile site is garbage also.

What difference does it make to you, going off your contributions here you don't punt?

Is there a reason you haven't posted any reviews during your 10 years of membership.   :unknown:

Many of us have expressed our displeasure to AW about this (yet another new change without prior engagement) it looks like we are begging! There isn’t an option either to opt out annoying. God knows what they will be surprising us with next week  :scare:

I wonder if you would anger the AW management if you perhaps put a little note on your profile, asking prospective punters to ignore the tip message.

I'd love to know what cut AW are getting from this.
And they have been known to steal an SP's credits before when arbitrarily closing a profile down.

As far as we can tell the full amount is showing in our credits, however if a girl gets a lot of tips and her credits go up then she has the option to cash them out, that is when AW get their cut, they take 30% off any credits we cash out.

There used to be an option to get a code sent to our phones which we then took into the post office and could get the cash out, now we don't have that option, we can get a voucher to spend in highstreet retailers,  a prepaid cosmo card or we can link our bank account to aw and have the payments direct.
I dislike all of the last 3 options

Basically as long as we don't actually want the money you guys tip us and we only spend it on aw for AT, LE, MOD  number subscription etc etc then 'we' get it all.

In reality AW have made a way to silently manoeuvre you guys into paying as well as us, if they had an opt out button then I'd use it.

It's not going to be long before the issue of guys getting butthurt arrives, when they have thrown a load of tips at a girl but she still doesn't reply or let them book.

Maybe it will become the new deposit scam, tip me X amount to secure your booking  :unknown:

Never thought of that, but actually could be used as an anonymous way to pay a deposit for a booking, not that I suggest anyone does. Certainly not something I plan on making a habit of personally, but the one time I did the SP then had my RL details.

The danger is that AW have rules that credits cannot be used to pay for in-person services, so anyone caught doing it will face sanctions

The one I got was from a 'user who has chosen to stay anonymous' but others have said they have had them from named clients,  so I believe the tipper has the option to show their username or to stay anonymous.

I believe from what others have said that  you can tip a set amount, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10  20, or 50 pounds but I may be wrong  :hi:

I see a menu like you describe, asking how many credits I want to tip, and the option to do so anonymously.

Here's a screenshot (name of WG blanked out).

The greyed out numbers are because I don't have that many credits  :)

Thanks for the screenshot,  I'm told when you first press the tip me button it says something like 'Tip me babe' a lot of the girls hate it with a passion.

'We' are waiting on confirmation from AW as to whether we will suffer sanctions if we put a bold line at the top of our profile wording to say we do not agree with the tip button and do not want to receive tips.

Great thread this. Fascinating info from Miss Wolf about how things work on her side of AW . I usually only tip when I have received good service ( wether from a WG or any other type of SP) so the thought of tipping before receiving any type of service has me scratching my head a little!

Fiverr also have a tip option and really push it both during and after check out. I know it's a different product / marketplace, but the concept is essentially the same.

I don't find it tacky, I make a decision as to whether the seller deserves an extra payment and act accordingly.

I do occasionally tip SP's in person while I'm there. I don't think I would use the AW system to tip an SP.

I don't find the concept tacky, but I agree that is tacky - it sounds so disingenuous the way it's worded.

Where / when does that appear?

What I'm seeing on desktop version of the site is a new button under the profile pictures that then takes you to the new m.adultwork site where the same button appears again which then links to the pop up.

Interestingly, the option doesn't seem to apply to profiles that are just ticked "Content Creators", the buttons appears for Web Cam  and Escorts and AW seem to be aiming it at Escorts with the text "Have me met - then tip me"

TBH I think the 2 most frustrating things about this new feature are

We were not consulted as to it's implementation,  they never consult the users

We don't have the option to turn it off if we don't want it

TBH that's all we want, have the feature if they want it but give us the users the choice of using it or not.

AW are a business, they're not going to consult it's users when they want to add features.

If SP's really don't like it they can always return the credits to the SS, it's not really that much of a hardship
