Punting in Guernsey

Originally put this in Regional Punting in the South East part but that isn't really appropriate. This seems the only discussion that this could fit.
The thing is, I have just moved to Guernsey and will be here for a couple of years. Does anyone know what the punting scene is here. I have looked on AW and there does not seem to be much going on, tours or otherwise though Guernsey is mentioned on some of the profiles.

I've done a search on this site (which is what made me join to be truthful) and also google and there is not much.

Any info would be appreciated.

I have tried a couple of Thai massage places but they are strictly legit, there are no extras on offer.

Considering the population size and the fact everyone seems to know everyone's business on the island, I reckon you're going to be struggling big time. Would be better off saving for big blowouts whenever you can get off the island in my opinion.

Never been, but spent a weekend in Jersey. If they're alike, and I imagine they are, I suggest you start looking for partners of an inflatable nature. You could use it to paddle back to the mainland for a proper punt

Yep, that's the only way you'l get a punt in Guernsey. I was there in May with the marching band I play in for the 70 years celebrations of the Channel  Islands liberation from Nazi occupation. Was there for four days, and the nearest I got was being chatted up in a bar by a lady that liked my uniform. Boyfriend with her, so kept my distance.
Best time in Guernsey is the summer months when the cruise liners call. Hoards of tourist descend on Guernsey and the bars. Perhaps if you wear a uniform, might get chatted up also??

Back in October I was asking some advice as to what the punting scene in Guernsey was like. The advice given was too keep an eye to AW tours and this is really just to say that that advice is good advice as it is pretty well all there is.

There are no local girls who provide service on an ‘advertised’ basis, which, as was also advised, is understandable on a small island (25 sq. miles, population 60,000 give or take).

There were some lean times when hardly anyone toured to Guernsey but when they did, there was good quality.

I have moved back to England now but for those who are thinking of going to Guernsey for whatever reason, the following is a list of those with whom I have had some extremely enjoyable times and who tour there fairly regularly.

When I lived on Jersey for a year I ended up just waiting until I was back on the mainland to punt.  Guernsey is pretty similar, both such small places everyone knows your business

Hi Andy2605. Thanks for posting your experiences.
Beauty Brooke & Louise Raine both look nice... but I'm more than a bit surprised that AW girls tour there ... I would imagine touring for WG's is all about punter demand ... and I wouldn't have thought there's a great demand in Guernsey.
None of my business and tell me so if you don't like my prying ... but what was your reason for migrating to Guernsey for a couple of years?
Doesn't a Guernsey resident have to be a multi-millionaire or something to be allowed to live there in the first place?
Although I do know that some businessmen ... you know the sort ... the kind of project management guy that's in a high powered role with an impressive job title ... and a big project budget ...who can get his secretary to book a flight to a ... b ... c ... and decide on the reason for going afterwards ... can wing a short weekend trip to Guernsey.
Was it business or did you just fancy an escape from the rat race to an idyllic spot.
It sounds like the island is not all it's cracked up to be if you intended to go for 2 years and ended up coming back after 6 months.
Guernsey ... naaahh! Alright for a long weekend or a short business trip ... but that's about it.
Btw ... do the men on Guernsey mostly look like this guy?

I remember reading some years ago that the Channel Island Police are very hot on visiting escorts.  They keep a watch on a number of sources and when a girl is advertising in the islands or proposing a tour their cards are marked and oftem met at the port or airport and returned straight away.

I cannot confirm the above but it is a strong memory.

Also I can confirm one comment from above, as I have some Jersey friends, everyone knows everyones business.

Don't mind you asking robbybox, it was for a job that didn't work out. Love the pic. Guernsey was OK, he'd been there a few time before on business trips and had used AW on those occasions. In fact with some of the girls I had mentioned who I was pleased to see again. Was kinda disappointed there were no local AWs but, as stated before, it is understandable, it was just that there was sometime weeks that there was no one or just didn't fancy the chance.

Fortunately I got to London a few times where I have one AW I like to see and who is reliable.

Yes, there is. Go on Fetlife.com, and put Guernsey in the search box. Wish I'd have done that last year when I was there. Was a guy on britishspanking.com posted few times in the personals for Guernsey without getting any replies. So thought I'd see what Fetlife had to offer. And bingo! A list of kinksters and a munch on June 2nd
