I don't know the girl or the history, but reading those texts it really looks as if you're being overcritical.
It's quite believable that she's left her possessions with another girl while she had an overseas trip

I get that she might be known to every other member, but not to me. A current link and photo snapshot of profile page  helps everyone.
It looks like a vanilla service, no interest to me.

I agree, I didn't really see any red flags here. I thought she was very polite too.
