Not strictly on-topic for UKP I know, but how do I purchase from one of the shady on-line pharmacies without her indoors finding out. I need steroids (not the anabolic sort) for a gut problem deemed not serious enough for steroids by the consultant, but still blighting my life. Her indoors would go mad, so have to be very discreet. Prepaid CCs require proof of address. Tried buying bitcoins from a paysafecard but got ripped off. Paypal no good as she'll see. Can't create new Paypal account as need bank account. I know it's the money laundering regs I'm up against, and it's a bugger!

If you have a medical problem, why would your OH go mad?

If you need steroids, your consultant would prescribe them - if your consultant won't prescribe them, then you don't need them.

What are you really up to?

Find some local independent newsagent or someone who'll accept the deliveries for you for cash in hand?  All those e-ig vape shops can't all be run by honest tax paying business men.

Tell them you doing a paternity test on your SO's new child, or ordering a special anniversary present ;-)

I agree with maxx, this sounds fishy, and even if you are genuine self prescribing with steroids is plain stupid, these are dangerous drugs. If you really needed them you would already be prescribed them.

A little research on google reveals that steroids are likely to cause stomach problems, not treat them.

Go to ASDA pharmacy speak with the pharmacist they can do a private prescription and charge £9 plus the cost of the drugs. They use an on line service Dr Thom to do the prescription take one of the drug boxes from your on line pharmacy with you the first time you go and they will sort you out.  I used to buy 100mg sidanafil from them now I get 4 pills a month on the nhs my doctor writes me an additional private prescription (no charge) and Boots supply 4 100mg pills at £2 a packet.

Have you read the OP's post, he's trying to buy prescription steroids that the consultant he's seeing won't prescribe, not Viagra. No pharmacy's going to issue a prescription for those.   :dash:

Think the OP's an idiot to even think about taking that stuff against medical advice.

Only way he can do it is by writing out a private prescription on blank paper making sure to add  a GPs GMC no. And signature and date! Note;I dont condone this!

You've lost me a bit here, what you're saying is if you want any type of prescription only drugs, (steroids, methadone etc) you just write it down on a piece of paper and the pharmacist will just give you it???

I think another worrying aspect to the OP's post is the apparent lack of any privacy to his own financial affairs. How under the thumb can you be.?
I cant imagine not being able to make whatever purchase I wanted for fear that it would show up on an account etc that "her indoors" would see.
Id tell her to live her own life and not yours and get her own accounts.

Paypal no good as she'll see.

Are you a man or a mouse.  ?????????????

Ever considered divorce.

I think that's called being single. There's loads of married couples with joint bank accounts where both parties see statements.

As I read it he's not worried about the money side of it, more the fact he doesn't want her to know he's buying steroids against medical advice.

Unless he has other motives.   :unknown:

If it's a genuine condition your GP will prescribe you the correct drugs, if you're after something more illicit, man up and say so.

I'm not single (not yet anyway) but there's no way I'm having joint accounts or even having the other half opening anything address to me unless it's the utilities bills. She welcome to see those.

This runs in to the date rape and steroids type
Drugs not for general consumption

I dont thing thats being single. Thats not being run over!  Ok have a joint account if you want / need, but you can have other accounts too.
Im not single. Ive suggested to my other half that she might want a joint acc but she prefers to keep her money separate. Which suits me fine as i earn about 10 x what she does. I whack a few hundred quid into her acc each month to top her up and all is good.

But not having any privacy on you own affairs is different and not flying INMO.
